i agree on the lack of support in SA and HTC,sucks !! but if vodafone is getting it in the UK then I'm 80% sure SA will see it stocked at Vodacom

The Exynos S4 isn't great, but the LTE is on par with the One from what most who have used both say.
The thing is its no point getting nice lookin, nice built phones but the internals /support is lacking, again, see here the One V and One S not to mention the drama around updates for the desire (2.3) and desire hd(4.0). It might be stocked by Vodacom, but for the average consumer that wants good product support, and availability of repair support and accessories, the S4 mini might be the better option.
 
The S4 Exynos is the strongest of all 3 phones by the way.
 
S4 Exynos is great on paper, not so great in real life. See Samsung screwed up the chip, with the result that even when the phone uses the 4 Cortex A7 cores, all those cores are active, with only the clock changing with the processing demand. This also hampered it's ability to switch seamlessly over to the more powerful cortex A15 cores. In the end this has resulted in poor battery life, especially in standby. Combine that with the numerous other bugs the S4 Exynos is yet to be rid of, such as Reboots during camera use, slow camera app launch time, jittery rotation animations, jittery app launch animations, all of these make the S4 Exynos the most flawed variant..
You want an S4? Go for the Korean LTE Advanced version that uses the new Snapdragon 800. All this said, the S4 has its positives, great camera,great screen, great size physically and the SD card option too.

Update : The Exynos 5410 chip is broken in hardware, there is no simple software fix for this. Samsung Exynos has tweeted that they will be announcing an updated Exynos Octa next week, and I bet that version will be fixed, and used in the Note 3 :D

I have decided I'm not going to wait for MTN anymore and just go with Vodacom .

Guys im a student and is it possible to use my dads payslips and documents but using my bank account for the monthly charges?

I think it would be safer if you used his account and set up a debit order from your account to his for the amount..?

Haha decided to go with vodacom as well after MTN kept on saying next month next month,getting gatvol for their excuses ..

MTN make empty promises.. Maybe do what I did.. Bought one cash, was only a few weeks old :cool:

damn, snapped one of the sides of my headphones on the plane.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement, or want to "part" with theirs, (for a reasonable cost of course). I really liked those headphones.

Also, seems to now have a slight ridge between the top of my screen and the body. Wasnt there previously.

Think they will do anything about it?

Funny you mentioned the above this morning, found the same thing on my phone, top left section of the screen is raised noticeably, yet right side is flush. Read on XDA it is a common issue and that those lucky guys with the great return policy over there tried returning and the next handset could be worse / or not so rather live with it. Checked with my colleague this morning and his is like mine but not as pronounced.
 
Got my el cheapo case from Ebay this weekend. Its awesome. I actually removed the Case Mate that i had on. I think i should sell my Case Mate. Don't think i will be using it again
