Official HTC One thread

Ok guys "Some" good news.
The canal walk shop at entrance 8,where i went to is under construction, so thats their excuse.
But i got a call today from the lady and my phone will be there on Thursday,after 3 1/2 weeks !!

I even got a call from MTN retention today asking if they should deliver it to my house.
But ill just wait for Thursday:)
 
Any Chinese shops selling covers or screen protectors in CT area?

Lucky you. I went back to the MTN store today to ask for an update...the guy was like - your order is recorded in the book, we'll let you know when it comes. He couldn't even confirm if it was actually ordered. No one seems willing to speak to Retentions at all.

Maybe if I get a good bonus at the end of the month I'll just bloody buy the phone cash :cry:

love the phone no ... no .... no, he's gonna jizz for a week once he gets it! have to say
the best phone i've had from htc thus far ... the wife is even playing with it and now talking
about dropping her iPhone5 and getting a red one
 
Took my upgrade to MTN Rosebank, they seem to be way more clued up. Filled in and submitted all my forms. Also keeping in contact with MTN via Twitter. So let's see what happens, I'm wishing I can get it by the weekend.
 
Hi, Im thinking of ordering a phone from megacell express, but im wary because they aren't that well known. I just wanted to know if you ended up getting your phone? Did it go smoothly? Thanks.

Congrats :) ,as you can see,feel,hear ..it is truly a device to have! please share your experience and some photos taken from your HTC One for others to see on this thread .
 
Hey guys,got my phone on Friday.
It's really Gr8 love sense 5,conning from a guy that had a nexus 4,lol.
I just have a small niggle,it's that my power button is way to flush with my case.It's actually pushed in ,I can just barely press it.
Anyone else have the dame prob?
 
I got my ONE on Thursday through MTN Direct.

Cellucity has some cases. I paid R399 for a black one as it was the only one they had.

Is there any one that got a case/cover from a chinese shop for cheaper?

Hmmm mine was not flush that bad,i could feel it just right..if it doesnt give you any probs then don't worry about it..

Remember MTN and HTC offer you warranty assessment,meaning if the device has a flaw or breaks ect in under 6months and you send it in,they'll replace it with a brand new one,after those 6 months they will send it in for repairs like any other phone.
