This goes up in the echelons of Bangladesh cricket as one of its greatest cricketing days. Bangladesh have pretty much secured their progression into the knockouts as England are bundled out of the tournament.

I think with that England loss, and a potential Irish qualification fo rthe QFs (both ahead of ENG, ZIM&WI), the ICC will have no choice but to scrap their qualification process.

Engalnd's ranking will plummet. They can't win ODIs away from home. Won't play ZIM because of Mugabe (stupid), and will lose ODI series to most teams at home (SA, AUS, IND, SL, NZ).

They stand a big chance of beinn one of the bottom two ranked sides which wil have to go for a play-off, where they can actually fail to qualify considering they are not shy to lose to and will either forfeit their points against ZIM, or make a mockery of their "moral" stand if they honour the match just to qualify.

ICC needs the ECB's money so I expect them to scrap it now.

They won't want to wait and see and be accused of changing rules only because they could see that England/WI were not able to drag their ranking up in time.
