Speaking about BEE, what happened to that Tsosobe guy? I thought he was a decent left-arm bowler. I heard that he's a spoilt brat off the field.

IIRC, there are quotas around the number of players of colour that need to be in the side. Behardien is a player of colour so he has to be replaced by another player of colour.
 
After 30 overs the "great Proteas pace attack of Steyn, Morkel&Philander had earned 0 wicketsfor 146 runs. India currently sit at 204/2 after 37 overs all thanks to mi**** Tahir longhop and a brain-fade inducing AB's fielding brilliance. Parnell has been pathetic!

While Southee was tearing apart England, this trio was failing to tame an Indian side repeatedly obliterated by Finn, Jimmy&Broad. Already Steyn's ODI's stats aren't that pretty - forget Mitch, Starc&Hazelwood. Will he be happy consigned to Test greatness alone considering he'll be just a footnote when World Cups are mentioned?

Whatever the case might be I was damn right about the absence of Tsotsobe being felt. He's always given India a tough time.

206/2 after 38 overs now. Still no wickets for the seam attack.

No way SA can beat AUS&NZ with such few scalps at these various stages.

Raina&Dhoni show in the last 10 overs? Dhawan has been magnificent.

India should feel disappointed they didn't get 350+ here.

Lookign at the pitch I think SA have a chance for anything less than that if they get the batting order right.

If that were true, they'd rather select select Rabada and Tsobe.
And that little guy who played in the last tests. Forgot his name already.
 
I actually don't care who is in the side at this point, nothing can be done about that.

Simple fact of the matter is we aren't taking wickets.

Indian is running away with this now because we've left it way too late to strike and are now looking at a 300+ chase
 
Reality is that with 11 overs left, Morkel and Tahir also being klapped now with the batting that's left, there are still 3 overs short that are required by either Duminy or Parnell

Why this yearning for a half good all rounder? Parnell is not even a better batsman than Philander

...anyway, if he doesnt come back and take a hat trick or maybe hit 100 in winning chase, then they may as well put him on QF63

...the scoreline, despite Philander's injury , shows the importance of attacking early....show confidence by bowling your 4th pace bowler (Parnell) at first change when SA was on top, but he brought Duminy on.

...and as I type, Steyn gets the ignominy of first 6
 
Part of the problem is AB's captaincy. Knowing when to put what bowlers on and g'ing up his bowlers is an important part of the job.
 
...and that drop of Amla off Parnell is hurting Proteas and parnell big time now...should have been taken, he was put there, asked to be there himself and Parnell bowled the required ball.
 
THEY LEFT THE BEST ODI BOWLER AT HOME AND THEY'RE BEING THUMPED AS A RESULT. TSOTSOBE HAS NO EQUAL WITH THE NEW BALL. #FACT!!!

Tahir should have finished his overs much earlier. Now they are bowling him with the slog on it's going to be expensive.
