Official ICC 2015 CWC thread

The same can be said about that dropped catch by the Aussie keeper earlier on in the innings. The Aussies are the ones who preach stand your ground until the umpire tells you to walk.

The drop by WK was an edge that went to 1st slip, what are you on about?

Actually, until Amla the other day the only person who walked was Gilchrist who actually was public about it. Remember it was also the Aussies (Ponting?) who asked that "the players' word be taken" on catches, others didnt want it.

I dont believe Rahane knew, that was no more than a feather as can be seen from snicko

Kulesakara walked the other night when SA beat SL.

Hey, whatever, it was dropped and he knew it. The point was the Aussies are the ones who started the whole 'stand your ground' thing.

Incredible stat flashed up on screen just now. Out of the 40 games that Dhoni has been not out at the end, India have won 38 of those! :wtf:

WTF?? Haddin dived and dropped a catched that spilled to bvloody third man, how the heck do you make from that that he 'claimed' it...what are you smoking?

...and no, the rest of Aussies were prepared to back Gilchrist but not if no other team did it...

The pressure is telling. This isn't a choke. This is a smother by Australia. Very effective.

I think that stat is staggeringly amazing, but this one might be a little too much under today's conditions. For Dhoni's sake I hope I am wrong.

Those chases were humanly possible all the way. This one isn't any more, considering the lack of wickets left.

Watson to Dhoni, SIX, full length outside off and this goes, in to the crowd at deep cover! A brutal smear from Dhoni, skipped forwards and cracked it way back over the rope. The T20 Blood God awakens

:D

And with that run out, India have given up IMO. Cmon guys, let's hear sympathy for their boys. Been there, done that. It's heartbreaking!
And congrats to the Aussies, their big match temperament is as solid as ever, Kudos.

Difference between Aus and SA. They hit the stumps twice with their run outs in the final phase while we missed :(
