Yes Dhoni is in, but that is ****e bowling. Shortball outside leg, knee high full toss.... any batsmen could have put them away.

I think the pitch means the Proteas have a chance foranything less than 350. AB is a poor captain but he's missing Philander too isn't it. Not easy when you have to save Tahir fir the end like he had to. He got Rohit out, and judging from our bowling we'd have been chasing close to 400 becoz we posed little to zero threat with the ball. Dhoni gone over left. 310 is gettable.
 
Question remains why not have tsotsobe, de lange or viljoen there. They can't do any worse than Parnell or behardien

SA did well to pull them back to under 320.

What type of bowler is he then because he wasn't much different at the death from earlier. His 3 death overs went at 11 an over and there were 2 wickets whereas his previous 6 overs went at 8.5 but there were no wickets.

No other bowler SA has cost more than 5.9 to the over, even our part timer Duminy. Parnell is at 9.44. That's 40 odd extra runs there. The difference between India getting 307 and 267 right there.

Agree with that mostly though what happens if Parnell executed his job better and went for 50-60? Suddenly we're chasing a par score of well under 300.

Captaincy can get you so far but your individuals have to execute their jobs or you have a problem.
