I'm against this dropping QdK down the order. If he is not cutting it opening, he must be dropped. Other batsmen have not been afforded the luxury to gain form lower down. But that's just me and my dislike of our selectors lack of logic

And they also beat India in that same tournament. Still remember Henry Olonga being brilliant in that game - took 3 wickets in 4 balls or something ridiculous in the last over.

I think if they had a bat first they would probably be able to get closer to 300 but with the scoreboard pressure I think they're going to crumble a bit. 200 run victory is definitely a very possible outcome.

I would agree with you except look how well AB is doing in the field? He's effected how many run outs and taken how many catches?

QDK needs to keep and he needs to find form!! I would be inclined to open with Faf and Amla and maybe let QDK come in at 3... At least until he finds some form...

We basically have no choice because a back up keeper was not selected. The logic was that AB would pick up the gloves

I seem to recall hearing that somewhere before. It definitely sent the right message to him at the right time.

Even greater is how he absorbed the information. He did not let it get to him. He saw it as something to be addressed. And seemingly it is the thing that sparked the massive turnaround in his game.

Correct but who would the backup keeper have been and would the backup keeper have been preferred to QDK? MvW? Yes, QDK is having a mare of a tournament thus far but only outcast could have foreseen that!
 
Umpires have been rubbish in this match! 3 successful reviews and we've barely completed 1 innings!

And that's excluding Abbott's LBW shout!!!!

Abbott to Porterfield, no run, big lbw shout as this swings back from middle and leg and beats him to hit him in front. Not given by Steve Davis. Two questions here. Where does it pitch? What is it hitting? Pitched within, says Hawkeye. Hitting leg, says Hawkeye. South Africa don't review, though
