i do know the game quite well

Judging from your previous statement (and your prediction) I would say you overestimate your knowledge.

Or hey, if you're right, I loved how Liverpool rolled over for Arsenal yesterday.

Wasn't pretty but we took our chances and it ends of a tough run of matches for us. Lets hope we can push through and finish off the "easier" games now

amazing how the spuds roll over against utd

LOL, strong lack of football knowledge. Spurs played very well and were probably the better team they just couldn't finish.

lol.

Disappointed Spurs scored, thanks Giggs :/

Anyway that's what Champions are made of. Two great goals by Young, pity he didn't get a hat trick.

Anyway, let the title race begin.

what title race .....watch as city start to crumble cause united is putting so much pressure on them ....:D

nice goals by young ...nani was very quiet in 2nd half

welbeck just gets better for and better but i hope he doesnt become more a rooney and starts working too hard too much ....i prefer and out an out striker with little work

I knew Spurs would dominate, Our MF is slow and cant cope with runners in the middle but thats why we have a defense (and they played well to keep spurs at bay)

We got the win and deservedly so coz we defended well and scored our chances

his game (Evans) has improved a lot since last season, i am not as nervous when i see him on a team-sheet as i used to be...although he doesn't get a run in my Football Manager 2012 team, lol

haha on my fifa team i think i use him as my 3rd choice :D

but yeah he has improved alot ...and thats the big difference with united and other teams ...our youngsters will fill any gap in the team in 3years time

He is playing well, does have his off moments but playing well - I would prefer Smalling and Vidic if all are fit

Ferdinand is still an excellent defender. Cleverly and Valencia are both almost back.

Everything will change when Vidic comes back (and hopefully stays fit this time) You could stick me next to Vidic in defense and I'd do a pretty good job of it :p He's just one of those players who makes whoever is playing next to him a whole lot better.

ferdinand is good but also lets slip now and then but still does very well ....when united have everyone back and no injuries ....title is ours

this^ ...he is a rock and brilliant

He still tends to fall asleep here and there... so I'm still worried when his on the pitch, I'd rather have Vidic + Rio/Evans pairing thank Rio + Evans pairing...

Sir Alex Ferguson followed Sunday's vital victory over Tottenham on Sunday by revealing some positive news on the injury front.

The United boss welcomed Anderson back to the squad at White Hart Lane as an unused substitute and he also hopes to have Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling and Antonio Valencia available again in the coming fortnight.

"The good thing is I'm getting players back," he told MUTV.

"Anderson is back now, Cleverley will be fit for next week [against West Brom on Sunday] and Chris Smalling will be back for Thursday [against Athletic Club].

"Valencia should be back for the away trip the week after. If we've got a full squad it gives us a better chance [to win the league].

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has been fined £15,000 and warned about his future conduct after admitting making homophobic comments on Twitter.

Macheda, who is on loan at Queens Park Rangers, was charged by the Football Association last month along with Newcastle forward Nile Ranger and Walsall's Manny Smith.

An FA statement today read: "Federico Macheda has been fined £15,000 and warned as to his future conduct after the Manchester United player admitted use of an abusive and/or insulting word including a reference to a person's sexual orientation.

"Macheda had requested a personal hearing in relation to the charge for comments he made on Twitter."

Ranger and Smith were last Thursday fined £6,000 and £1,200 respectively and also handed a warning by the FA after admitting making homophobic comments on Twitter.

West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison was also recently fined £7,000 by the FA in response to a homophobic remark made on Twitter.

Morrison, who completed an undisclosed switch to Upton Park from Manchester United at the end of January, is reported to have made the comment in response to another Twitter user.

The 19-year-old was also warned as to his future conduct by the FA.

Amazing you can make homophobic comments and only get a slap on the wrist but say the word 'black' and it's game bans or off to court.....

Oh and a tackle that would impress Roy Keane
