I wish both ManU and City lose their remaining games and scrap the goal difference and go for a head-to-head. Oops
 
In all honesty, this season has been a very bad one, which is funny as it started off so well.

After the 8-2 against Arsenal I thought the sky would be the limit for us. We were playing such good and attractive football I was sure we were going to dominate in all competitions.

Slowly but surely injuries took over, bad form set in and one by one we got knocked out. The less said about our European campaign the better.

I'll admit I was surprised we managed to go top of the log with all our injuries, but now I'm just angry that after all that hard work we threw it away.

As for the young guns, who knows. Pogba is out injured till the end of the season, it's looking like Cleverley was just a one hit wonder and Keane, Petrucci, Fryers etc. won't be making the first team anytime soon soon I don't think.

The sooner this season ends the better. Make one or two solid signings in the off season, hope we stay injury free and let's hope for a better 2012/2013 campaign.
 
Unfortunately this is just the beginning for United under the Glazers. It is a miracle was Ferguson has accomplished under the current conditions but it can't last forever.
 
We just need that one decent playmaker... Pirlo, Scholes, Oezil, Gotze style player, add a decent left back and we sorted

That is ruthlessly optimistic. I really can't agree. We need, in order of urgency:

- central midfield playmaker
- defensive central midfielder
- left back
- left winger
- striker, specifically someone who can play the targetman/hold-up role
- a center back comfortable on the ball to replace Rio.

Sadly we won't be getting even half of that and I highly doubt any signings we do make will be of sufficient quality.

and yeah fishfly

i really want sneijder at united ...carrick played well all season but somehow against the big teams he doesnt perform as well

we need sneijder and javi martinez to hold ...hazard on the wing so that nani and ashley young can fight for the places

the more competition the better

i think a decent left back would be needed as well ...since fabio is going on loan and evra cant the furk run back nemre

we really missed vidic this season ..last 3 games our defence furkd up

i like hummels from dortmund

him and vidic ...would be a mountain

Carrick? his a CDM... you expecting him to be both a CDM and CAM???

You want an entire new team???

Our LB Evra has been wading into Central defence for no apparent reason, wingers are practically walking through him...

We lacking the playmaker,

wings we have with Nani, Valencia and Young.
CB we have Vidic returning next season

Our biggest priority is to secure a decent playmaker as Rooney seems to be lost at what his suppose to do at CAM...

The unfortunate consequence of the Glazer regime is that instead of building from a position of strength we are now reduced to this.

Evra has been poor this season. His shirks his defensive duties to attack but is unable to produce any quality contributions there either.

Nani is far too inconsistent and not nearly as effective on the left. It is Young's first season so I'll reserve judgement for now.

Let's hope Vidic can return to the sort of form he had before the injury, but Rio still needs replacing.
 
haha fishfly ....well he does do that and so does scholes

so now we need one cam and one cdm who can hold ...and the cam mus play just infront of the cdm with rooney abit infront and more wide

and the striker all alone ....welbeck can play but chicharito has a poor season given the few chances...

cleverly i say give him out one more season ...or use him more and get him stronger
 
You guys must stop dreaming of those players joining united.fergies last season next year.

Yes but you forget we have Smalling, Jones, Evans, da Silva brothers in the wings of Rio and Vidic so Defence isn't even a priority

Midfield we are seriously lacking, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Fletcher (dunno wtf his on), Ando are just not cutting it as an attacking force...

We need as number 1 Priority to sign a quality CAM - Modric, Oezil, Gotze, Gaitan (not too convinced)

Number 2 is to replace this Evra or make him stop tracking forward so much

Number 3 -possibility - would be to start playing a 4-4-2 formation against weaker teams, I'm not too happy to sit back and defend with a 1-0 lead when our team has the potential to win matches 5-0 or so... (well if SAF wants to catch up to Barca's playing style)

I really wanted to see AVB's full potential... pity he was managing such a #$^& team :p

Oy we have a current team that is being beaten on goal diff ...so even if we dont get players we still strong

the reason we want them is giggs and scholes and rio is old

another season with more full games is suicide

so if we get new players we strengthening

@ fishfly we do play 4-4-2 against most teams and at home

we play the 4 2 3 1 against stronger teams and away

but noo furk man rio is old now ...if smalling/jones can play as good as they did in the 1st half of season we have a good deal there

fabio is going on loan ....we dont have another LB ...rafael is starting to get to peak form and then get injured ..

and yes we do need more CM players ....i really want snjeider lol

i think he did well ...rijkaard did well ..but messi was brought out by pep

so did pedro and well this years new stars cuenca and thiago

so yeah he didnt do his best ..he did change the team which revovled around zlatan and ronaldinho and messi on the wings

the new coach has nothing to do except get a decent left back ...
