So we still have all that cash from the Ronaldo deal. I rate we buy someone good at least - Glazers have said that it is NOT going to finance their debt.

Valencia isn't the worst buy in the world...

And then there's David Villa. We might as well spend money and see what he can offer us than sit with nothing.

Real bought benzema. If Owen is the alternative I have to really question Ferguson. He could look at augero,villa,lavezzi,ect before owen.

Buying or acquiring same thing, owen's not the type of player a top level club should be looking at. He isn't the same player that he was earlier on in his career.

And they're about to buy Ribery, whom United also wanted. But yeah, I'm not too fond of Owen either.

But he was FREE.

So we still have all that cash to buy additional world class players ;)
 
David Villa does not want to leave Spain. He was only interested in one club,
R$AL M$DRID. But even this deal is of now! He staying put at his current Club.
 
Yeah same.

Well all we can do is hope for the best. The main thing is him remaining injury free. IF he can do that things might just work out.
