So I can't have a positive attitude towards my team and the desire for them to win?
Low and behold dude, we've lost matches on plenty of occasions and I've had to deal with it.
Perhaps I've been lulled into a false sense of supporting one of the better teams and always expect the best.
You telling me you're not expecting the best of your team?
I know it doesn't happen as often, but you're still expecting it right? ;)


@ The Argentine, yes mate - the tone has itself smeared rivalry - but it's all on the pitch, which translates to results.
Not the political or geographic disputes that the English have with one another on that side.
I'm not from there, so can't essentially be opinionated about that.

MMM, sorry fishfly, I think S&S meant, Liverpool fans think that winning United 4-1 MEANS they won the league....:sick:

Now fishfly, you and I are united supporters, so we tend not to think that simple mindedly. However, thats how liverfools see it.

Never really saw rivalry in its "political or geographic" sense either. But I'm sure you don't take rivalry completely out of realm of possibility. But I get your point on Owen....
