Hi guys, been a while

Excited about Kagawa, think he is a great addition to our attacking play. Im not to worried about the permit, I mean the club managed to sign Dong Fang Zhou ffs.

I havent heard too much about Henriquez, but atleast he wasnt homeless...:D
 
I hate those British work permit rules. To think we could have had Essien before anyone even knew of him :mad:

Apparently the Polish manager was mis translated. Even if he did join, we have Welbeck and Hernandez on the bench. With the addition of Kagawa, Rooney will play up front on his own, so there'll only be one spot on the field for a striker. Having 3 strikers on the bench is excessive.
 
Looks like Modric is the new Sneijder this year sigh. Rumours all over the internet about him. Strootman rumours picking up pace as well, hope we get him.

That's true. Besides you gotta spend money in order to make money, and we all know Manchester United is a business to the Glazers, nothing more. They can't afford for United to get knocked out of the CL again. They lost tons of money from broadcasting and matchday revenue so we need to buy quality players to ensure we go for in all competitions next season.

Exactly. Kagawa is a good start but we need more than that - as close as we came last season - that was more to do with luck than anything else. We only won the season before cos everyone else was even more ****e.

We still have Scholes/Carrick/Ando/Park.

We need Modric, though, or someone similar. Kagawa is not enough on his own. He will take time to adapt to the prem as it is...

What I posted is an extreme case of optimism haha. IF we got Modric and Strootman, that would be the best possible starting 11. Kagawa is a CAM, is we play him as a CM he won't be nearly as effective. Modric linking up play from DEF to ATT and Strootman covering the back 4 as well as pushing up when required. It's a damn good team in my opinion. As Henry said we still have Scholes/Carrick/Ando/Park on the bench. You got to have a lot of depth if you want to challenge for 4 trophies. There'll be enough game time to go around.

No Valencia?
 
Valencia was out best player last season.

I would play 4-4-2, Nani and Valencia on the wings, Kagawa and Scholes/Carrick in the middle and Rooney and BBT (you heard me) up front.
 
Valencia was great yes, but Nani always brings unpredictability to the team. He can turn a game on his head, he just has to stay consistent.

If we play 4-4-2 we will ruin Kagawa and he won't live up to his hype. He's a CAM, not a CM.
 
I want someone to replace/or give Evra a push in the backside ASAP... his pushing up but leaving one too many gaps for my liking
