Official Modern Warfare 2 Discussion Thread

Woot, the new AlterIW update finally has the Invite ability option ..... now we can start doing clan matches properly, no more just cod4 clannies.
 
I was reading Alteriwnet webpage sometime last week and they have future plans to include console etc. This is way more awesome than the original...We just need a bigger community.
 
Already joined will hopefully check it out tonight, or maybe this weekend. Seems to set it up is quite some doing... (not to mention you losing your rank if you do not do it properly! 0_0
 
IRG, Kyubs, if you in, let's try it out and see if these guys are any good? ;) IRG, will chat to you this arvie maybe we can play one or two rounds and let the rest of the guys know?
 
to set it up originally is nothing, took even the doff guys maybe an hour ..... it's just this update which is causing some hassles coz there was two different methods, one of which was borked. But we're sorting it out more and more by the hour so we should have a guide up soon on that too.

I have it up and running, just need to do the update tonight... seems simple enough. Not worried about my level, besides I'm sure you can hack that if you want.
 
Join me on Team 1 as soon as you are online, maybe you can run me through it. I am nervous that I stuff something up! LEVEL HACK??? There is such a thing???? ;)

Not worth it, just now you get banned...
 
I dont know how u can be banned on AlterIWNet?? But like I said, not worried about the level, it builds up fast enough, and my fav gun is the M4 anyway... I used the Guide which included the DLC1 update when I first setup mine... I see the new DLC is included with the old DLC with the new download links. Probably be onlineby about 5 today.. will go through it with u...
 
There's a guide of sorts now on the forum to help you update to the latest ;)


edit - I don't think level hacking is bannable ..... every other hack: oh yes
 
I will leave the patches to download tonight...I will join you guys tomorrow. With my 384 line the downloads should be done by morning...

Are the links up on RIG?
