Official Modern Warfare 2 Discussion Thread

It tells you in the RIGateway ..... how many people are online and in what lobbies. Apart from that, we've been having Private matches so we can get used to the new maps. Last night alone was damn awesome.
 
Well, maybe I am just a little dof, but I cannot seem to get the gateway to work. I followed the instructions to the tee, but when I try and run it it says the game is already running and thats it. Thus the reason IRG and myself played a FFA, cause it is the only game that will work with 2 players...
 
@ Joe - it would also help stating these things at RIG so that it can be known about hey. So far, out of 60 odd peeps with the Gateway, that's the first I've heard of it saying the game is already running. DO you have the new version of it?
 
Not sure. I must say, I tried only once to get in then went back to the Steam version. Once all our members have alteriw working we will join en masse.

Do not take my post as a swipe at RIG. I dig what you guys are doing, and the more support it gets the better. I will check it out tonight (if I have time - am a little swamped at the moment so don't really have much gaming time). Not sure if I will be able to game at all tonight.

Not at all ;) I just meant that I check/post here way less frequently than at RIG ..... just a ton more help there than here :)

I'll patiently wait to kill you guys :D
 
is anyone struggling to join and play the new map pack, i can join sometimes but normally the game is almost done and always one red bar and lag from hell, is it just SA?
 
I am getting confused if you guys are referring to AIWnet or the original lol

I have this problem with the original...
 
I now have both DLC's on steam and I noticed on TDM, only a few of the new maps are in rotation. I've been playing for a week now, and I still havnt seen Carnival.

Before everyone flocks away to RiG, the server is back online, click on the link in my sig for the updated IP

For the lazy bunch, the IP changed to 38.99.171.31

Its now internationally hosted, will see if we can make a plan to get a proxy route it locally.

People are usually on during night hours, between around 7 and 2 in the morning. Our MW2 player base is still expanding, but as of yesterday is had grown substantially. We also have a dedicated launcher app so you dont need to worry about ip changes etc. Just login and play.

I got the RIG launcher app, will have to check after 8 then.... usually been checking before 7 (probably between 4 & 6). And weekends??

Fridays are usually our busiest night, with up to 3 full MW1 servers and a packed MW2 lobby and maybe a Killing Floor server going too.

There are a few clannies coming up as well so if you in a clan or want to start one, now's the time :-D

Also holding some mini compos like a pezbot time kill challenge and such.

And we have some sneaky, first in the world surprises coming up in the next few weeks. ;-)

been hosting private matches at 7pm the last week (posting IP in shoutbox) ..... where were you? Also finally got the update thing sorted with a lot more peeps, so servers should be rocking now.
