Official Newcastle United thread

..and that still does'nt change the fact that Roo is a granny banger

I support ARSENAL, yet you keep on informing me that Wayne Rooney, a MANCHESTER UNITED player sleeps with prostitutes. I don't care if he sleeps with korean labradors.

Let me help you out here and give you a hint. Arsenal hasn't won a major trophy in 5/6 years. Try to use that somehow.

Well the Gooner's do play pretty football.... Excellent at times. They missing a leader in the team.. A Viera, Keane, Gerrard...

Why does Wenger love young boys ?

You are very confused today. First off - you're trying to irritate an Arsenal fan by dissing Rooney in a Newcastle thread. Second - you always post two distinct thoughts, neither of them having to do with the other. Third - you're a Liverpool supporter, so all the above is understandable.

He has also made my 'greasemonkey' list ;)

3-1, what a result...

Not at all happy about the Pardew fiasco though... The result changes nothing wrt that!

Ont he topic of Newcastle, before Sigh comes back of course, when are you guys gonna be selling Carroll? Come on... it's only a matter of time.

EDIT: One more thing... the thing about letting go of Hughton is that you were 11th when he was sacked. Alan Pardew comes in and says his goal is to keep Newcastle in the premiership. Stupid if you ask me, since he was brought in to move Newcastle onwards and upwards (presumably).

Pardew couldn't keep his pants up with a belt if he tried, how the hell is he going to keep the Toons up? The fans are not happy and it will affect morale I fear :(

Where did the magpies even sign him from ? Was he a youth system player ?

Seems so, he was with them from 05. Not surprising... they have a penchant for bringing through good youngsters. Nile Ranger is looking really good as well. All that needs to happen now is that Blackburn buys them for a ludicrous sum, wins the league from under United's noses and slips off into mediocrity again.

List of teams managed:

Wikipedia said:
1998 Reading (caretaker)
1999–2003 Reading
2003–2006 West Ham United
2006–2008 Charlton Athletic
2009–2010 Southampton
2010– Newcastle United

To think you got a coach who was sacked by Southampton. Priceless. Oh and he was sacked because of "disharmony in the squad" and "tensions between Pardew and the club chairman". Look mate, if nothing else... it'll be cracking to watch this soapie play out on the biggest footy stage of them all. /popcorn methinks

Southampton, now theres a fairly decent academy

Isn't Ashley still actively trying to sell the club?

I know :(
And to boot:

Pardew was criticised after seeing West Ham through their worst run of defeats in over 70 years which included an exit from the UEFA Cup to Palermo in the very first round

Although Charlton's form improved under Pardew, he was unable to keep Charlton up, resulting in the first relegation of his career, both as a player and manager.

Many expected Charlton to bounce back from relegation into the Premier League with signings such as Chris Iwelumo and Luke Varney in the 2007/08 season. But Charlton failed to mount a serious promotion challenge and finished the season in 11th.

Southampton
Five months later Pardew was dismissed by the club amidst reports of low staff morale and conflicts between Pardew and club chairman

Mods, please close this thread.....

Newcastle have'nt won anything except promotion to the EPL... hahahaha

Nice bunch of supporters, really passionate, pity the Toon army dont even know what a trophy looks like.

Well aren't you a sour puss. It must suck to lose 3-1 to a promoted team, not that I would know.
