Correct thread - that's the radio transmitter frequency he use. I use 103.4 in Pretoria.

I use 100.80 it works almost every where in JNB just now and again I get interference from RSG

Hehe, But anyway..
the frquency can just be changed easily.. so.. yeah.. and as long as it's NOT a radio station channel, just keep the N8 under the radio/CD play like in the ditch by the gear box, then all sound will be nice
(Though I have to put it REALLY loud compare to the CD''s

If you read the Nokia Support Post for anna, it was all swap codes can only be manually upgraded at nokia care.. check your code

Oh my bad - I didn't click he meant that was the frequency he was using as he said THE 106 - though maybe he was talking about a car or something

With world cup coming I'm thinking of getting Drifta...but heard it's resolution sucks.
If I buy the DVB-H device I won't need the Drifta right? Does anyone have one? How is the resolution, especially when plugging the device to a tv through the HDMI?

Educated guess it will be bad since dvb-h is broadcast in resolution of about 320x240 and no you wont need the drifta

It works quite well for viewing on the phone. Will try to take a few screenshots in a bit to let you guys see.

My N8 died. Just dead: no charging light, no vibrating after the power button was pressed, no nothing. None of the reset methods work (i.e. 8 sec power button). I'll take it back to 8ta tomorrow so that they can send it in. Unfortunately I have flashed it with a pre-release of Anna (though it was on the official Anna when it died), and a few weeks ago I have spilled some tea on it. So whether they'll claim that I voided my warranty is a 50/50 - probably depends on what the fault is.
