I followed all the steps super-carefully and slowly, and Phoenix still showed me some kind of error, so i did the step they recommended (pressing power ONCE, NOT holding it in) and after acting a lil strangely at first and restarting twice within the first day, ...since then, I have yet to encounter a problem.
Theme effects off for most fluid and snappy operation. LOVE love love it.

Looks really complicated... voids warranty... hmm... risks... :):(:confused:
 
How does one upgrade to the officially released firmware when it comes out if you installed the leaked firmware?
 
or can just flash the original back onto the phone..

They will never know :D

Cause that's what they do at the nokia care centers :)
 
I'd really like to flash it with the belle firmware but nervous about it... hope the official belle isn't too far off
 
Dude, you know doesn't matter if you screw up hey.. Because you can just flash it again with a different version.. Like people keep posting up different versions.. Download the lastest one and flash, and if it doesn't work, download a older version and use that.. Sure one of them will work..

PLUS you got so many people here who have ALREADY done it.. So if you have questions, can ask..


THOUGH I'm not saying you MUST, I just saying, I felt the same way as you.. but then, I failed as well.. but then people online just said: "Just flash Belle on again" And then I did it, with a different version.. and it worked..

So yeah... :D

I can't see any updates available for my phone.... Did it change your software version?
What is your version now? (dial *#0000# to check)... Mine is 022.014. I'm with Autopage - MTN.

I also had the small update.
 
What is your Product Code? Mine is 059D2N9 and I don't have the update yet - it is possible to change it and download updates not available on the Vodacom phones, for instance...
