Official NOKIA N8 thread

Guess I didnt have to wait that long, just conected to OVI suite (guess its not yet available OTA) and the update is ready to download :)

Nokia said that the update will only be able to be downloaded through Nokia Suite and not through OTA since it is a huge/major update

Dude, just flash your phone, I've been on this exact release since last year, PLUS full widgets..

I am a bit unsure how exactly.

Which files do I download?

Can you give me step by step directions please

thanks

update to belle complete, belle can't recognise whatsaap, any one knw when a compatiple whatsaap will be released?

Finally, tel us what differences do you see when comparing to Anna? Browsing was very smooth as it was. What did they improve? I hope they did not fiddle with the very good camera.Let us know pls

you will just love to have belle on N8,Nokia should have released revamped N8 like iphone s,the phones they released so far don't match N8 in many departments,i would buy it for the third time considering the level of support they give...two OS upgrades in 6months,i like nokia

Alot changed in Belle..

Like there is drop down mean from any screen
You phone runs faster on start up
Scrolling is improved.. (Like much smoother than before...)
Animation from changing screen is also improved.. runs MUCH smoother..

Belle give you a sensation of a NEW PHONE :D

+1
The N8 is the last true Nokia flagship, under Elops rule, Nokia has released some very dull devices, N9 is the only one that has been interesting, Lumia range so far is just bleh.
