Bizzi was going to leave (according to rumours) but they included him in the Smit talks and he's happy (something about 50-50 game time if I'm not mistaken). Was atrocious that Beast didn't play and one can't blame Smit for leaving after that foul spear tackle .... it shows what a player he is when he's on a plane for almost 30 hours, joins the training side and plays in a game where after being tackled severely, he manages to carry on until the 35th or 36th minute :D
 
Dont have a problem with smith, just stated, could not really comment on his performance, as he left after that slight "lifting of feet" (according to the ref and the majority of the all black supporters)
 
Heh, read that earlier ..... what a crock of sh*t. Just a handy excuse to have around in my opinion.

Schalk Britz is a worthy replacement though. Yes, the Bokke will be lacking leadership but Britz had a fantastic Super 14.

he was about a meter away from smit when it happened. You can even hear him saying "no2, no no" in reference to smit forcing thorn to eat some grass just before smit got dumped.

I reckon Dickinson probably saw thorn get a punch or 2 in the brawl, and reckoned everything got sorted out

I think they should use Bismarck, he would be a good captain, what is strange to me is why his brother is not in the squad, that man has power on him, and will work ten times better than mojati in any power position
 
I was listening to Supersport Blitz now and Andy Marinos said Smit's injury was as a result of that spear tackle. :(

I wonder if it was?

PDV never replaced the tight head :(

I'm sorry but I doubt we'll get a front foot in unless it starts at the scrum. PDV will use the illegal scrumage as an excuse again after this loss :rolleyes:

To win you need to have the ball and attack from the front foot. If you lose the scrums that is already 50% of your problem, and keeping you from winning.
