Official Super Rugby 2014 Thread

Bulls were strong, much stronger than I thought they would be ...... and they still got decimated. Awesome game Sharks!

Well done, I had Sharks by 18. Good weekend for me 2/2 :D

I needed those points after the Cheetahs once again failed to deliver in Super Rugby. I hope it's not a trend with them. I always hold out hope for the farmers...

Poor Apoc must be devastated...

I am shocked for sure.

In cricket they say: "Catches win matches"... I guess it is true for kicks in Rugby. Goosen not very good today. And although Willie did create two tries, he put us under pressure because of other mistakes.

Luckily it was followed up by a decent rugby display by the Sharks.

Wot?! He can create an aeroplane that seats 6 from 4 paperclips, 2 ice cream sticks, a rubber band, some duct rape and 1 sheet of A4 paper?

Looks like it. And he uses a diving forearm to kick start the propeller. Think his 2nd name is Dean because of Richard Dean Anderson?

Yeah, since I started watching Willie last SR season, I count on avg 6 mistakes for every 1 brilliant move. Although there was 1 test last year where his mistake:brilliance ratio was about 3:1 - good game for him.

But I guess if that's what wins games, it's good. Like the Stormers (my team) who pride themselves on not conceding tries, but as a result (structures) don't score many either. Compare that to other teams who concede more, but score more = bonus points for them hence better log positions. Someone tell AC that points difference only comes into play after log points.
