Here is hoping the Cheetahs can replicate and improve on their awesome 2013 season.

Not too confident though.

The guy, who I believe, was responsible for a large part of their success has signed with the EP Kings. Defensive coach Michael Horak will finish his duties at the Shimlas (Varsity Cup) and then depart to PE.

Then you also have Brussow who injured his toe and will only be available after Round 7. And the departure of Ebersohn will still come back to haunt us. The amount of work that guy did on defense and pulling defenders in attack was out of this world.

At least we still have the most exciting backline player this country has seen in years. No no, not Adriaan Strauss :p. Willie le Roux.

I also think you guys will miss Ebersohn the most, hopefully we can start with a win over you on the 15th!

Created a pool for us. Called MyBB SR. Pool code: plopsink.

Sent out a few invites so long, but didn't have everyone on there from the previous one.

Piet Lindeque is back from the Sharks. Although I think he is more of an outside centre.

He is also not a very good player in my opinion. Well, not from what I've seen at the Sharks. I hope there's someone else.

Here's the MyGaming Superbru pool if anyone wants to join:

Pool name: MyGaming
Pool code: hackrevs

We've got a 6 Nations one too. More information on our pools are here:

They recruited Francois Venter from the Bulls for that role if I'm not mistaken

Ah yes. I forgot that he is also returning to Bloem. Good move by him. He will not get picked before Serfontein at the Bulls.

On Ballz, they took the piss out of Ashwin Willemse trying to call the rugby when the fish are swimming:

"See sells cell c sarks by the sea sore"

Gotta get a camo jersey...

Why not? think he is a fantastic player OS played when he was well in his 30's and he was every ones hero to be back with the bulls is a logic decision loosing the previous year alot of the senior players and the same thing this year they need some experience who better than Kiewiet

O ffs, I really thought he had the makings of a good 12. :(

+1. That is true. But the problem is who is the backup for Serfontein and Engelbrecht? Also when they tour with the Boks... who will fill in?

Understand your point keep in mind Os du randt was a front row with alot more strain on them than a second rower might have

that might be true but Vic has been one of our premier Flyhalves /in side centres for many years, thus I am sure he has run a few meters in his life :p

Sad. I was looking forward to seeing him on fullback / wing.

I saw it this morning. Sad news for the Stormers. He is a key player for us this year, hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.

Jan Ackermann danced till he was 37. He was on BALLZ the other day saying the Vic move is not a bad one at all.

I think Vic has a lot to offer and I will reserve my judgement till after this season.
He will never be as good as he was, although even at 80% he will still be a respectable lock in the Super series....

I just hope he does not break a hip :D
