Elton better get some "balls" .... he looks scared and keeps wanting to kick everything away..... back to the old style of SA rugby....kick the ball away after the forwards have finished bashing the opposition away...... :confused:
 
Johan Ackerman will have to come up with plan b tactics during halftime talk. Rush defence by the 'canes is causing big issues.

Good thing the score line is still relatively close.
 
Lions need some hot sauce in their halftime beverage. Come on lads!
 
Justin Marshall hit the nail on the head. Jantjies getting spooked by the 'Canes line speed so he's trying to get rid of the ball quickly. Janse van Rensburg is a beast. I've been a DDA fan for a while but this oke is gold. Put him in green and gold now!!
 
Looks like they are trying to surprise the Canes with a different type of rugby. Stamp kar rugby of old...

I have confidence that the second half will bring a bit more of flair. Lions need to play their own rugby, get back to basics and win this.
 
To be honest, I thought the gamble of playing the 2nd team in Argentina was way bigger than Whiteley's gamble of not taking the three.

I think they have learnt their lesson. Always play with a full strength team if you want to win the trophy. Not all over yet ;)
