De Allende is mixed race. He actually goes by as a coloured.
So mixed race is white in quota terms?

Huh? He is a coloured on the books.
My point exactly. AC would have to replace a player of colour at 12 to have RJVR in the team.
Oh, I agree with your RJVR post. De Allende is not in the game, his mindset has not yet recovered. Then there is the Kriel-le Roux debacle… Le Roux is too predictable in his current state, Kriel needs more experience at the back, maybe a black player has a chance here, touchy area the Springbok #15. Kolisi is out, he will be replaced. Coetzee will give more clarity on Saturday when he calls the squad, there may be surprises.
Looks like Whiteley will be back for the final. Hoping Coles also makes it back, although Riccitelli handled himself very well.
Andries Coetzee as a possible Bok bolter at 15? He's been one of the unsung heroes for the Lions. Given Le Roux's serious lack of form as well as no other obvious replacement (no, Pat Lambie doesn't count) it might be worth a go.
Read today that Lambie is still struggling with his injury.. headaches and the like.yes he does, i would put lambie at the back.
This is really concerning considering the incident happened a month ago.Read today that Lambie is still struggling with his injury.. headaches and the like.![]()
I meant Saturday
Was a fantastic tackle !
Normally wet weather would benefit a South African side, but the Lions are more potent running the ball.
