Official Super Rugby Thread 2012

Sias Ebersohn is joining the Western Force next year on a 2-year deal.

Was always going to happen with Johan Goosen making him look like an average player.

Jip :( Very sad but hopefully Sias finds his mojo in Aus and comes back a better, stronger player.

Hopefully the FS can keep Goosen. It'll do wonders for the team.

Nha I think the Bulls need a succesor for Steyn :D

Durban has a nice attraction to the boys from Bloem. If goes anywhere, he'll be making home away from home in Durban. Trust me on this one ;)

I really do not think that you can have lambie, steyn and Goosen in one team... that just is not fair.

Of course we can, especially as we will be looking for a permanent flyhalf when the Frenchman heads back to his homeland :D

... or trace back a French heritage and offer him citizenship! :p

Haha, I shall bomb the Frogs! They can have Freddie back damnit :p

If he does decide to go that route, he won't leave for Europe before the next RWC.

Also do not think so but if a club comes with a very large offer ... well, lets just say as a young man I would have thought twice about declining the offer :o

Stormers had Schalk,Vermeulen,Kolisi,Carr and Koster out through injury.would have been a different ball game had they been fit, yet the Sharks could only win by 5. Hopefully the stormers have at least 3 of them back after the break.

You know I've been thinking about this and you actually can't use that as an excuse. The Stormers have obviously not being managing their players, especially considering they play the defensive type of game they do where each player is required to make a ton of tackles. I would almost be as bold to say that they probably have the highest injury list in the competition.

Andries Bekker out for 5 weeks.
Pieter Louw who has been sitting at home with no stormers contract has been recalled.

I'm picking the bulls this week.

That title probably belongs to the Lions.

Well played Sharks for destroying the Stormers, lets do the same against the lions and not underestimate them, show them some respect as they are the Currie Cup Champions

Half-time: Crusaders 32 - 13 Highlands

Crusaders have already scored their 4 tries for bonus point.

Wow, and then Gear for an intercept try... I want margin.... the Highlanders must score and convert twice, without the Crusaders scoring... Highly unlikely :(

Full-time: Crusaders 51 - 18 Highlanders

7 tries to 2 . . . snot-klap!

Edit: nobody got margin points on this game and (yellow-cap man) Sand_man got the bonus point.
