Line outs and scrums have been totally inept from the Bulls tonight. At this level most teams regard their set piece ball as a given and an ideal platform to attack off. Very disappointing technically.
Bit OT but equally worrying is Zane is arguably SA's best full back.

This... IMO he is not a flyhalf or centre.
He is someone who needs a second more to sum up his options and playing from the back is perfect for that. His massive boot is also needed at the back to get us out of trouble when needed.

So none of my SuperBru gambles paid off this weekend. Seems alf101 was right -
Blues opted to play with a young and mostly inexperienced team on this level. They nearly took it in the last seconds, but to take 77min to score a try against champions will not bring any trophies home. Blues will probably be at worst next week; they had to win this game to keep their heads up. Bad decision by the coach and I knew the result when they announced the team, unfortunately my pick were already made.
