Fulcrum, I looked at your picks so far for Super Rugby and you've been spot on. Now just as I think you were crazy to pick the Waratahs last week, I think you are crazy to pick the Blues. What is your reasoning behind the pick? I'm very interested in what you have to say.

I've gone Chiefs so the Blues should take it... :p

The ******* Blues have probably earned me two points in the last two seasons. :(

Why did I pick the blues?

It is based on previous results and certain elements which come in play based on history. All my picks are made prior to the season. Blues were already picked.

I also only pick in 5’s, thus eliminating possible scoring variants. Based on how the other players pick can at times improve my result by picking this way.

Note: I do not make picks regarding the players, I pick the team. Players I pick in testrugby.com which is rocking at the time.

On personal note:

The champions is only resting next week, some changes will wreck or stabilise and not improve current gameplay, how many games did the replacement scrummie play in this season? The Blues is switching props, more youth… I like experience in my teams… Champions are conquered by experience and superior tactics.
 
Interesting, thanks Fulcrum. I haven't made my picks yet. So I'm still deciding but chances are good that I will still go for the Chiefs. I look forward to seeing how your strategy pans out though.
