Another win for the Stormers :) - hopefully we can keep us this form when on tour. We should definitely win against the Force and probably against the Blues (they're so unpredictable!). With any luck, the Reds should be conquered too. It's quite a nice tour actually - the top team we're facing (the Chiefs) is only in 6th position.

At least we're playing the Bulls at home :p

Log after Round 6

The Sharks are improving week by week....
The Bulls are getting worse and worse....

Interesting times ahead.

Not sure that Bulls are getting worse so much as getting complacent? They certainly ran close to the wind last night. First Bulls game I watched and thought that they could have put the foot down a little harder to ensure no last minute surprises from the Hurricanes.

Sharks are back! woohoo! Wore my Sharks jersey this morning thinking hoping I didnt need to take it off after 10, but I didnt! boys came through nicely!

So good to see a win at last. Can hold my head high on Tuesday in the office :D

Just means we will all be expecting a win next week.

Damn those Stormers are solid on defence. Although it did look like the Cheetahs already left for the long weekend.
Cheetahs never ever looked like breaking their lines.

Cheetahs simply kicked away too much possession. Can't really blame them.
Well done to the Stormers, Bulls and Sharks with their wins.

Sorry, dude! Cheetahs can still dish out a klap or two more and get up there.

I am glad it turned out good for most South African teams. Hope the Cheetahs can do the Stormers and Bulls a favour and really hurt the NZ teams on their tour. Glad to see the Sharks are coming to the party atlast.

Yeah how does that saying go again? Look at the score board?

Lance can you please tell us who is leading the S14 with 1 less game played?

And o lance we miss you so much, maybe you should post a bit when your team is losing nt just when they are winning ;)

Next you will be telling us RP is a better flyhalf than MS

:wtf:

dude, you are becoming a joke....

i used to think you are just a passionate shark supporter, but still able to debate and be sensible

now you are just sad...

first time I've seen someone call a team that wins 5 on the trot that they are getting worse :wtf:

why are they getting worse? elaborate please?

I think what old lance hereis trying to say is the bulls went from blinding awesomeness to simply great. The sharks went from K#k to being a contender for actually winning the game ;)

Ya, but the Bulls did look blindingly awesome at the start, and now they look beatable. I still think they will end top after the group matches though. It will take something really special for a team to remove them from the top spot.

I doubt any team can keep from looking "unbeatable" for longer than a month. Teams have found ways to counter the bulls. In the first 3 games the bulls adapted to the rules the quickest and thus had a major advantage. Now the other teams are coming to the party :)

If the bulls can bring home 8-10 points from the tour I am sure we will host a semi.

as long as they beat the Crusaders and loose to the Stormers, I am happy :)

I missed this idiotic post initially and unfortunately got to see it now. What exactly is your issue? Let me elaborate for you as requested.

Week 1
Cheetahs 34 v Bulls 51
PD 17

Week 2
Bulls 50 v Brumbies 32
PD 18

Week 3
Bulls 48 v Waratahs 38
PD 10

Week 5
Bulls 48 v Waratahs 38
PD 10

Week 6
Bulls 19 v Hurricanes 18
PD 1

You notice the points difference. You notice how it is contracting. I would call that getting worse! And all but one of these games was at home.... let's see how the tour goes.

As for the Sharks, they have never been out of the game except against the Crusaders. In the previous two games they were effectively cheated out of wins (but that has been covered elsewhere). In the last game they put it all together and looked great. Hence me concluding that they are looking better.

Again I ask what exactly you are taking issue with?

Well at least we have one Bulls supporter that is capable of comprehending English.

The LOG is looking great ATM. I am hoping for a Bulls vs Stormers or a Bulls vs Crusader Final.

:)

The Bulls will mangle and devour the Stormers in one half. And digest them in the second.

Lol, I like the confidence :D

Sad to see injuries to the sharks and the stormer sides :(

I am very happy to see the bulls have 30 capable players so that even with an injury or two we will not really be weaker than at the start of the season.

I hope our tour is started of with a win vs the force but the bulls should take care not to let the "enemy" get a 10 point lead ont hem again... we do not have altitude on our side for the next 4 games.

However I am confident we can bring between 8 and 12 points home from our tour.

Ps congrats to the lions for kicking Earl "the pearl" to the curb.

As if the injuries weren't enough already.

Juan Smith has pulled out of tonight's match against the Reds due to personal issues.
He gets replaced by Kabamba and Neil du Plessis(former SA u/21 player) takes up the spot on the bench.

I'm sure it is something serious and I'm hoping that all will be well.

I'm just holding out now to see if it is true. Might be an early April fool's joke.
Because Neil du Plessis is also the Cheetahs' fitness coach. Hasn't played rugby for 4 years now.

yes lance, you are correct, i'm sure the bulls are now so bad, that they'll lose every game from now on, and end bottom of the log, i mean, a team that can only win with 1 point, *shock* *horror*.

and the sharks, now that they have won 1 game out of five, you are right, they are unstoppable, reserve your ticket for the final in Durban now already, to avoid disappointment.

i bet you if situations were reversed, you'd say "ahhh, the shark are unstopable, 5 out of 5 wins"

us: but lance, you guys won the last game with 1 point.
lance: but we still won the game didn't we, does it matter if you win by 50, or by 1? a win is a win
us: and lance, now that the bulls have finally won our first game
lance: one swallow doesn't make a summer, just one out of 6 games won, you guys were lucky, show some consistency first....

"we have never been out of the game, except against the crusaders" - :wtf: ? if you lost, you lost.... whether you were in it or not....

Well at least we have one Bulls supporter that is capable of comprehending English.

Ok, what language am i typing here, can you guys understand this? i r not sure i forstaan what these persone is saying to me's..... [cause thats how all of us are like, right lance?]

anyway, you + rugby debate = fail....

Bizkit calm down, he never said the Sharks are unstoppable, he just said they are getting better game by game and that the Bulls look like they are getting worse. He also never said the Bulls are bad - if he did he would be considered mad. He just made a statement of what he experienced during the season. I am sure if you ask him he would still say the Bulls are the favourites to win the title or atleast end up top of the SA teams.
