Bizkit calm down, he never said the Sharks are unstoppable, he just said they are getting better game by game and that the Bulls look like they are getting worse. He also never said the Bulls are bad - if he did he would be considered mad. He just made a statement of what he experienced during the season. I am sure if you ask him he would still say the Bulls are the favourites to win the title or atleast end up top of the SA teams.

i understand, but am i the only seeing how stupid his logic is:

let me put it this way

The lions super 14 2010 rest of season:

Lions vs Waratahs: 73 – 12 : 61 points difference
Lions vs Crusaders: 46 – 19 : 27 points difference
Lions vs Highlanders: 39-29: 10 points difference

So by Lance's logic, the lions should be winning every game from here on in [perhaps one more loss, by 1 point]

???

Well, it does show an improvement, but you can not say they are going to win. But for a team that does really badly, you take any glimmer of light. Like last year, WP played against the Bulls and lost in the Currie Cup semi final and us Province supporters were really impressed with ourselves even though we lost in the semi's. We could see that we really improve a lot and could have won, if our discipline didn't let us down in the last few minutes. But we saw what the problem was, and the coaches focussed on it and now we look much better than we looked in previous seasons. It is not good to look at the negative the whole time, if you see progress you should applaud your team for going in the right direction.

i agree, but can you really say a team is playing weaker, just on the basis that they are winning by less and less each week? that is what lance is suggesting.... and its stupid

if he said, the are weaker because of a,b,c and d, then sure, that is his opinion, but i find it very silly, that he bases it on our winning margin each week....

Ja, the Bulls are not getting weaker, they just started really well because they adapted better at the start, the other teams are just catching up now - but that should in itself be a bit worrying for the Bulls - although I don't really see any team taking the number one position away from them.

the thing is, i don't care [obviously i do, but not for the sake of this conversation] if they are getting weaker according to him, but at least give a better explanation than "their winning margin is decreasing"

but enough about that, i'm over it...

hopefully we can pull off 3/4 wins this weekend :)

cheetahs probably have the toughest game this weekend?

Well, I think the Sharks game will also be though. I think the Bulls should win with a bonus point.

i hope, but the Force hasn't "surprised" any one yet this year, and it is.... imminent :D

just hope they don't get cocky, sharks should destroy hurricanes, because they are getting better and better [ok, a little sarcasm thrown in there] but in all seriousness, i think they will pull it off.

Seems to be confirmed. (But I will only BIWISI when they run on the field @ 19h00)

Juan Smith out of match tonight. Kabamba or Barend Pieterse will replace him and fitness coach Niel du Plessis will take up the spot on the bench.
Cheetahs can not get any substitutes from Vodacom Cup squad because they are traveling per bus to their game against Border in East London.

stupid Cheetahs should have appealed for that try round about the 62min mark .... it looked for all intents and purposes that he put it against the posts!

it's a totally different team ...... that they didn't give up is really telling :D

Well done Sharks!

Sharks really stuck it out.
Just goes to show. Defence does win you games. May the Cheetahs learn something from this.

Well done Sharks.

Bulls playing now. And if you listen to the Aussie commentators, the Bulls are playing with a new wing. Who-Guard

Bizkit, take those blue glasses off! The Bulls hit a luck again today with the yellow card saving them... And the Sharks won AGAIN, away!

Bulls are not nearly as dominant as they were at the start. If you want to say that is because the other teams have caught up then so be it but the fact remains they are not improving!

I shout for all South African teams but get pissed off when a mere observation about the relative performances gets made and someone gets all defensive and uppity!

Out of interest any body care to quote the kicking percentages for the two teams today?

There was a coach on the Cheetahs bench? I didn't even notice that. I can see the problem though with the VC team going down to East London. Why didn't they just use a Griquas player, they were only up in Joburg?

Was so good to see the sharks win again :) and so pleased my expectation after last week's success was met :D

It is worth mentioning that the Hurricanes got their 4th klap in a row  from a South Africa side :D

They went down 28 - 12 to the Cheetahs, 37 - 13 to the Stormers, 19 - 18 to the Bulls and now 29 - 26 to the Sharks ... Whoopee!

Sadly only the Lions couldn't make it a full house :(

THE WORLD:
sharks squeeze a last-minute penalty to get a narrow victory.
BULLS unfazed by ordinary first half return to defeat brave Force team by 13 in second half

LANCE:
sharks play fantastically and hammer 'canes into the ground to destroy them by a massive 3 points.
bulls come back from a really huge magnificent almost insurmountable 2pt difference at half time to narrowly defend their unbeaten streak in lucky second half.

Seriously lance, sometimes it takes no effort to sit back and admit your faults. You have 2: shark-tinted glasses and utter ignorance of the bottom line. And by bottom line, I do not mean that boundary at the lower edge of the S14 log where your team lurks - I mean the end result that sees ours at the top...

19 - 18 to the Bulls
...home game....

and now 29 - 26 to the Sharks ... Whoopee!
...away game.

O..... K.......
