On that note, GO SHARKS!!!!

Yes, just seen the highlights on telly, they certainly had a great game. Showed depth and character to come from behind, something that has been missing until now. Hopefully the week off will give them a chance to regroup a bit and maintain through what should be a walkover the next week.

Bulls played crap.
Cheetahs never looked like winning.
Stormers lost it in the final minutes (a pity :()
Well done sharks, you hung on for the victory.

Still my team (the bulls) are 2nd (points difference only) place and if that is the way we play when we are having an absolute shocker I am happy to report the S14 trophy is staying in PTA :p:D

As stated in that post you responded to, no body dare say anything about the Bulls performances for fear of getting shot down. I forgot the brotherhood, sorry that should probably be broederbond, of the Bulls fans dictates that only good things can be said about the Balletjies.

I'm eagerly awaiting the first yellow card for the Bulls here. It is ridiculous how much they infringe in the ruck and mauls.

EDIT : Oh, look at that a warning as I type this!
oops... du plessis suddenly has two citings...

For going into a ruck normally and having an accidental clash of heads ......

I watched it and even though I'm no fan of Jannie, this is a piss poor excuse of a citing ffs

Well I was about to be nice and mention that they also have a game in hand over the first place team but one of your fellow Bulls supporters showed the usual Bulls fan behaviour after you so I won't.... ;)

They (almost) all are.

This "offence" in particular... even us Sharks supporters had the decency to take Bakkie's corner when he was cited for aggressively clearing out a maul. Some ninny Aussie has clearly complained about rugby being too hard a sport and they are wanting contact to be reduced!

Just to check the fairness of these citings... did that scrumhalf ever get cited for klapping the Sharks player (damn, his name is eluding me now)?

If the bulls bring home 4 more points from the last two matches on tour I will be happy.

That should also be enough to have us end 2nd or 1st on the log if there are no big surprises.

Hope the stormers can pull their shlt together and finnish under the top 4.

I wish the sharks played better rugby at the start of the S14 so we could have 3 teams in contention for a place under the top 4. Hopefully this will happen next year.

To the lions and cheetahs... All the best but please please please start playing the rugby we all know you are capable of!

I wish the sharks had [got the rub of the refs decisions] at the start of the S14 so we could have 3 teams in contention for a place under the top 4. Hopefully this will happen next year.!

This sentiment I can fully agree with... however, as a Sharks supporter I did do a little bit of editing! ;) I'll agree that they did not play exceptionally but could still have won more than they lost if decisions had gone their way. You need to smash the opposition so that poor refereeing cannot affect the result.

Juan Smith out of Cheetahs match again.

Juan's father passed away and he is on his way back to South Africa.

Condolences to Juan and his family. :(

No no smashing needed, maybe just go and learn a thing or two from the bulls ;) I know you as a non zealous person will accept this with grace.

I though Juan's dad was only seriously sick! No idea he was on the verge of passing away :(

Condolences to the family.

Apparently it started going better and that is why Juan joined the team. His condition deteriorated suddenly overnight.

I believe he was diagnosed with Rift Valley Fever (Slenkdalkoors).

Aye that is what I also read. (him having Rift valley fever)

8 other have died of it as well iirc. Has a very low mortality rate...

Bloemfontein - The Cheetahs have been rocked by a late setback when their captain Juan Smith withdrew from the team because of the death of his father in Bloemfontein.

condolences :(

I'll tell you one thing.
I didn't know Juan or his father, but he must have been one of the proudest dads ever.
