Great great great display of complete rugby by the Stormers.

Schalk back to his best. No, even better.

Hell wish I could have seen it! :(

The Vodacom Stormers ran in six tries as they recorded a record 49-15 win over the Chiefs in Hamilton on Friday.

Damn they are looking more and more like the team to beat... as long as they keep up this form.

I said it from last year in the CC semis, if the stormers had more experience they would have beaten the bulls. They outplayed us that day only inexperience cost them the win.

I am in a very privileged situation. 2 x TVs with DSTV in the office. Rarely miss a game of rugby.

Bulls vs Stormers game will be a cracker. But looking at the way the Stormers played today, the Bulls will have to work hard on their defence.

What kind of work do you do? Have any job openings?

I've got my own business. In the construction industry(not construction itself). Very vague but don't want to give out too much detail.

Our tea lady is going on pension soon. You want? :p:D

Well if I can watch all the rugby and you pay me to do it sure... Ps I can do the whole flair bartending thing so I might need a slight increase on her salary but for that you will never have to drink tea again while watching rugby :p:D

Great win by the Stormers today.

I agree with the commentators that the second try must be one of the candidates for the try of the tournament. A breathless period of play from their own 22, including both backs and forwards in the movement. It's a pity I only got to watch the 1st half though :(

Bulls fans... you better watch out... :p

Yay, we are on top of the log - or till tomorrow anyway. Really good performance by the Stormers. Good luck to the other SA teams and I really hope Cheetahs can upset the Crusaders.

....... and I really hope Cheetahs can upset the Crusaders.

I'm sorry. But even as a massive Cheetah supporter. I almost fell of my chair laughing.
No offence but I think the Grey 1st team or Shimlas will currently do better than the Cheetahs.
Simply because the play for each other and as a team.

/Everybody put your tinfoil hats on....

I have tried to figure out what might be wrong with the team:

In Currie Cup we started of badly but ended up playing in the final and almost beating the Bulls on the day. (Well done Bulls :))
Then came the Super 14 and the only thing that changed since that is the fact that Griquas players joined the team.
Now to say the Griquas players are not doing their part would be foolish because Viljoen, Pretorius and Bjorn Basson all excelled when they got chance. Even Naas Olivier played and kicked well in the first few games.
But clearly those are the only guys(All Griquas) except for Adriaan Strauss that are playing good rugby. And the only conclusion I can make is that the Cheetahs and Griquas do not see eye to eye.

Then when you dig slightly deeper, you will remember that Hawies Fourie is the former Griquas coach. And if rumours are to be believed that Hawies are favouring Griquas players in the team, then you can sort of see why the guys are not playing as a unit.
It might also be the reason why Hawies has so much time on his hands to talk crap to the media and describe in detail each week how they will beat the other team. Yes, because he only spends time coaching his 2 or 3 players.

And to a degree I think it might be true. Because we do not have that bad a backline. And I heard from a reliable source that lots of players are unhappy with Hawies
Ebersohn is a star for the future. Just needs to be coached.
Meyer Bosman is big strong and has the vision, sometimes :p.
Nokwe is probably one of the fastest wings in world rugby and yet he gets no ball.
Hennie Daniller showed in the final rounds of the Currie Cup what he is capable of when brought into the running line. And he's got a monster boot on him.
Mapoe is out but before he got injured he didn't really(except for the Bulls game) show that same intensity as in the Currie Cup.

Forwards we are purely just depleted thanks to injuries, personal reasons and suspension. But how can your forwards get go forward when they always have to clean up the backs and their mess.

/Okay, tinfoil hats off.

Hehe. Shows you what type of *** conspiracy theories you can come up with when your team fails to deliver. :D

Apoc, miracles do happen - just hope it is this week. The Cheetahs only look really weak because their captain wasn't playing. The players should get more convidence in themselves and then your Cheetahs won't do so badly. I don't know about the coach etc, but they pretty well when they had their full squad. I just think the injuries and personal problems has taken its toll on the Cheetahs.

Congrats to the Stormers! They had a fantastic game against the Chiefs! This us probably their best game in a few years.

I'm not sure whether I should be pleased or unhappy as a Stormers supporter...

On the one hand, the Bulls are guaranteed a semi-final, however, this gives the Stormers a chance to get a home semi-final. On the other hand, this now means that there is quite a lot of competition for 3rd and 4th place, which might be to the detriment of the Stormers in the later weeks of the competition.

Well at this stage I'm not to worried about the saders. They aren't really playing all that well and they have to tour now (incl games against the stormers and bulls).

But yeah. For now it's very important that the stormers bash the reds next weekend. Problem for both the bulls and stormers is that they both still have to face the sharks and each other.

whats up with the stormers? why are they winning so much?

They whipped out the cheque book :)

Sharks won and got a bonus point. I'm happy with that. As with all local derbies it was always going to be tight. The same reason the Bulls and Stormers should be worried... ;)

What happened to the Bulls?
