Jacques Fourie for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or at least for a guaranteed spot in the springbok side.

Wow, as a Stormers supporter I couldn't be more proud!

What a fantastic performance by everyone involved, especially Jaque Fourie. That first try must rank as one of the tries of the tournament!

The Bulls should be shaking in their boots right now... 2 weeks :p

they missed out on a bonus point though and will be a little disappointed in that, but good to see the SA teams at the top of the log

Anyone noticed that there seem to be a lot more Stormers supporters all of a sudden this year... I also notice they have caught up to the Bulls in the poll on here. Amazing how some wins and they come crawling out of the woodwork! ;)

Same here!

Having said that, I'm really stressing about the Bulls/Stormers game at Newlands - the Stormers are playing very very well this year! We (Bulls) may have peaked too early. :erm: :D

The Sharks game tomorrow should be a pretty easy win. Here where I'm sitting now, I actually made some sums to see if the Bulls are still at 1st spot if they lose to the Stormers :o (Which they can do if they pull full points tomorrow.) But I'm very very very concerned about the Bulls Stormers game. The Stormers just seem to have everything running at 110% currently. And there is no stopping or pulling them down from this EPIC train they are riding currently.

Yeah a bonus point would have been nice but I'm sure the Stormers weren't expecting to get a bonus point against the 3rd ranked team in the tournament. We'll just have to make it up next week... at the Shark Tank because the Stormers are just that damn good :D

The Bulls are unlikely to get a bonus point against the Sharks tomorrow because it is an SA derby.

Great Capetonian logic there... the Stormers will get a bonus point against the Sharks but the Bulls won't because it is a local derby. O... K.....

Loving this arrogance from the Stormers fans all of a sudden... it has become expected of the Bulls fans.

Pls don't start yet :D We'll wait for tomorrow. Good luck to your team though Lance, may the best BULLS team win :p

Yes Lance...your Sharks logic is failing...have you possibly not insinuated from my post that I think the Stormers are better than the Bulls and therefore will get a bonus point? Obviously that point alluded you. Also notice the " :D " so my last sentence was said in jest.

If you take a stroll to the beginning of this thread, you will notice how I predicted (very very incorrectly) that they (Stormers) would suck. Only one or two objectors back then. Well, to them, I eat my words. To those that failed to stand up for their team in the beginning - you guys are not real fans. You should take a leaf from Lance's book. He is a REAL FAN. So dedicated in fact that he managed (with a straigh face no doubt) to carve the following piece of rubbish:

Please Bulls fans don't attack me but I am seeing more and more of this sort of talk recently....

Ruan scrumhalf, Grant flyhalf. ;)

Where are you seeing this talk? Dreams? In your posts?

Aye there is no game like a local (SA) derby :D I kind of hope the sharks beat the bulls with a bonus point and then the bulls win the rest of the games with 5 points :p

I want 3 SA teams in the semis!

No ways. The Sharks should be put down. Not that I wouldn't mind 3 RSA teams is the semis but with the Stormers playing so well, we need all the points we can get. Also with the Saders hanging on for dear life, you never know what they'll dish up against the bulls next weekend.

Perfect scenario for me is that the bulls and stormers are run away log leaders by the time they clash on the 15th. Both teams can then rest some players in that game. People have been going on about how big the game of the 15th will be. It might just turn out to be a dull bulls c team vs a stormers c team affair.

Maybe some people are just a bit more realistic. I'm a fan of the SA hockey side, the DA, etc. But I'm not going to go around posting that they are going to win the world cup, the next national elections, etc. (following your logic). Newlands rugby and cricket grounds are the best supported/attended in the country. The fans show their support by going to the games no matter what - not by posting on this forum.

True that. And admittedly, most of the vocal Stormers fans in this thread have been that way since the beginning. Us BULLS fans claim we will win though right from the start. So far so good. Top of the log without even having to play...

Yeah, it's easier for you - when you have such a quality team. :D

There was talk that they were going to cover the Newlands pitch with paper - as the Stormers/WP always look so good on paper. ;) Luckily things are coming together for them and the turf is safe.

VRYSTAAAAAAAT!!!!!

How beautiful was that?
Just proves again that defence can and will win you a game. Cheetahs defended really well and that gave them the opportunities to attack
Sarel Pretorius had a great game. Putting lots of runners into space with his flat, accurate passes. Robert Ebersohn and Juan Smith was leading on defence.

Don't forget Meyer Bosman on defence ....

They all did good. Frans Viljoen also made a massive difference in carrying the ball up.

Just saw now. Sarel Pretorius - Man of match. Definitely the best player on the park today.

Only Kaplan hey - Give a penalty for blocking the Bulls = correct call ..... Threaten to sin bin the guy for swearing at another player = bloody ridiculous

Otherwise, pretty even match up so far hey. Pity about the rain.

And then of course you had him not penalising Olivier for taking Lambie in the air, missing what I also called truck and trailer along with the commentators.... ;)
