Official Transfers & Rumours 2012/13 Thread

Well... that's Moses and Azpilicueta tied up. Some really good business this transfer season.

E. Hazard: 32 million
Oscar: 22 million
Moses: 9 million
Azpilicueta: 7 million
Marin: 8 million

Total: 78 million

I just wonder how Liverpool fans feel when they see we got two young, exciting wingers for less than the price that they paid for Downing.

Er, you don't have to wonder mate. It feels *****.

Thank goodness the people that currently are signing people have their heads screwed on straight and are trying to fix the mess that the previous manager and staff created.

Liverpool Football Club have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Nuri Sahin on a season-long loan deal, subject to the player passing a medical.

Sahin moved to Madrid last summer fresh from helping Borussia Dortmund secure the German championship and being named as the Bundesliga's Player of the Season.

The playmaker collected another league title winners' medal as the Spanish giants clinched La Liga in May.

Sahin has 31 caps for Turkey and became their youngest ever scorer when he netted on his debut against Germany in 2005, aged 17.

The 23-year-old will now undergo a medical on Merseyside.

take that you gooners :D

can't believe me missed out on johnson. ffs BR

City fans don't rate him that much to be honest. I don't mind that we missed out, what we really do need is another striker.

Apparently LFC and NUFC are having talks about Andy atm.

We'll at least they didn't sell to a rival in the same league. Wish my club can understand why that is a bad thing.

Well it's not like there's anyone else that was going to buy RVP :p Do you prefer that he leaves on a free transfer?

I don't see 24mil pounds scoring 25+ goals a season, so yes, keep him one more year and let him go on a free. If we kept him, you could ease in the likes of Podolski and Giroud and you wouldn't have the kind of pressure that are currently on them. If he leave a year later you have to players ready to take over with a season in the EPL behind them.

Selling him to a rival only makes financial sense, no football sense what so ever.

Talks of Carrol going to AC on loan, with the option to buy. Apparently somewhere on twitter. If it does go through, I see it as another Aquilani ordeal
