I thoroughly enjoyed the game but the timing on the audio wasn't good.

That really annoyed me. Fourie's try: one minute we get a penalty. Then, the commentary goes:

Fourie takes it quickly - slips through - breaks the line and opens for the first try.

Then, the visual shows us getting the penalty and the action happening. I was totally distracted from watching the action. Ruined that try for me. Bugger.

I did not actually enjoy the game and i think the main reason was that when something happened i knew it before i saw it, totally ruined the game for me.

Trouble is those two are pretty much irreplaceable. Cannot think of who would be a better bet unfortunately. In Bekker's defence he did pick up an injury just after coming on.

Two nr 5 locks will not hold up in test rugby  If you take of bakkies replace him with a nr 4 lock! I am kind of happy Danie russouw will now be replacing bekker. We need a physical cleaner up front. Bekker would be matfield's replacement.

Hmm, but he is often brilliant off the base of the scrum. He seems to always get us on the front foot. That up and under miss was just one mistake I can think of off hand.

+1 Spies is easily one of the top 3 8th men in the world at the moment. First people complain he can not play a tight game, then when he shows he can people complain he isn't running enough..... Ps go look at the ammount of tackling he did in saturdays game.

Trouble is, without making this too political, do you notice the common denominator there? Unfortunately it seems we need to bring them on the satisfy some people. The trouble is most of them do not even watch the game and just see we win with them on the field and then say obviously they are good!

+1. But I agree with the poster above saying there are other much much better "players of colour" that i would pick :)

I thought Ruan did nothing wrong.... in fact as I am typing this Naas just discussed it and said that he felt Ruan had a good game at fullback and did nothing wrong. I still think he needs a position where he gets more involved. He has Giteau like abilites and they are wasted all the way at the back.

I felt he was a bit out of position for one or two of the deep kicks by the Aussies but playing at fullback for the first time in a hell of a long time he did well. I hope he gets moved to the bench to become cover for nr 9, 10 and 15. Else even try him at right wing now that JP is out for this tour.

Still not sure what he was doing in the scrums. It seemed he decided he was going to penalise who ever was on the one side of the field when it came to scrums. "If you are playing left to right then we'll penalise you if the scrum goes down".

I also had no idea what the criteria was for penalising...

Wish I didn't have to agree here as most will assume it is just me being me but I do agree. Again Giteau gets through that channel way too easy. And on two occasions it was Morne who was in the vicinity. He does not like tackling hard! He will get in the way only. Anyway I'll not say more about him as we have covered it all before. He left a few points on the field today too....

He does the best job at nr 10 of any SA flyhalf so I will also refrain from adding any further comment on the matter :)

Anyone who speaks out against spies should be taken out back and shot :D

Spies is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Devil you realize in a running game tries will be scored, in a running game your objective is to score more tries. I would love to know what the aussie press said about us now, we can play the kicking game and the running game.

Objective completed!!!!!!! Not to mention we won in aus!!!!!!!!! Not to seal the deal on sat, only 5 more sleeps :(

You, Morne', his performance in the last few test matches and the rest of Africa that thinks the same will never be able to convince a provincial team supporter Fanboy. Yes Sir! never.

They need to get rid of Jacobs, Januarie and Ralepelle immediately. I don't even know why Jacobs and Ralepelle are there. Januarie is there because of last year's match in Dunedin.

Replace them with Wynand Olivier, Jano Vermaak and Schalk Brits/Derick Kuhn/Adriaan Strauss.

Anyone but Olivier and Brits ...... yeesh, over hyped pretty boys that always put themselves ahead of the team.

Well being the best centre in the S14 says you must atleast have some talent ;)

But I also think he does play a tad selfishly.

Yea that is what i thought, surely they would have replaced him if they could have. It was obvious he could nothing because he had a bad injury.
