Official Vox DSL feedback thread

I tried to sign up for the uncapped 10MB but the payment failed because the internet dropped frow CW's problems and now when I try and sign up via my mobile phone it says the username already exists but I have not received any details from Vox regarding username and password.

Not sure if they're currently online, site doesn't state what support hours are.
 
So need to switch isp as crystalweb has gone to the crapper. Between uncapped 10mbps and 500gb fatpipe which is the better choice for a heavy streaming,gaming household of 4?

The cap, you can always up it if needed. The 6x cap rollover is also nice. I am on the 300GB one, all's good.

The rollover shouldn't affect me much as providing frogfoot does their job I should be with cool ideas in a month's time. But I do need a working adsl connection in the mean time.
 
I am another unhappy CW customer, needing some information about VOX please:

1. On which backbone is VOX?
2. What payment options are available?
3. Do they have a trail account?
4. When is the cut-off date for cancellation?
5. Can I up grade and down grade between packages (Fat pipe Home user) without problems?

I don't do debit orders. These okes tell me I can't accept regular EFT's as payment. They have lost a potential customer. BS if you ask me....
 
Kayvee, do they do debit orders from credit card or does if have to be from a check or savings account.

1) don't know, but I know I go via WACS - which means good latency for me to europe
2) I use credit card
3) not that I'm aware of
4) think it's a normal months notice, you can do it via the portal
5) yes , I downgraded recently and still kept my roll over data.
 
Anybody else in the North been having issues this week? Every evening from around 18:00 my twitch.tv streams go to crap and buffer even on 160p and my WoW latency shoots sky high. When I try a different ISP account it is completely fine.
