I have been reading thread and yes major problems from CT to JHB i think. Im with Telkom Capped account and damm from 7pm till 10.30 Pm no gaming in the house Packet loss and ping 150+ something really broken out Somerset West way.

I did the whole pingplotter thing and it looks really bad eish.

I've logged a ticket: TICKET ID: 125679

I'm 100% sure I'm being shaped on my fiber connection, please investigate this.

International videos take forever to buffer, facebook buffers, even the pictures have to buffer.

When I log into the portal the dashboard says "Great Experience" but the experience is far from great.

Please advise.

They wont reply, my tickets are unanswered.
Its like the hidden secret. All i can think is that they are oversold.

Thank you for confirming your ticket ref - this has been assigned to a tech for investigation and will respond toward a resolve asap
 
The network team have been investigating along with IS and are replicating to test these timeframes to isolate the any lags - will update this thread the moment we receive an update toward a resolve asap

Please can you provide feedback as to what is happening in the evenings with unusable internet (IS or whatever) - a general notice should go up on your site informing customers.

Transparency is only fair as there is no way this is an isolated problem.

yup, I'm having latency issues again, and my ticket to which I provided feedback as requested on 8 March has gone unanswered. What the hell is happening to the customer service at Web Africa??? Why are you guys dropping the ball SO BADLY!

Your man Umar has DISSAPEARED off the face of the planet in dealing with my ticket: 117089. Just a RESPONSE would go miles! Can I please get some turnaround on this, or do I need to find a way to make this issue more public/take it higher up your chain on my own?
 
Hey guys.

I was about to unleash fury onto WebAfrica until I read a few posts on this thread and realise I'm not the only one being affected during evenings. Starting from 5pm - 6pm to 11pm - midnight, I get pings from 300ms - 1000ms to Telkom's SAIX server.

Outside those time they are usually normal (6ms - 7ms).

Any indication as to how long it would take for their network to return to normal.
That time frame is the only time I get to enjoy my internet being at work the rest of the day.

It sucks ...

Any secondary ISP to recommend in the meantime?

CW (or is it EvoNet now) is not an option either. They're probably worse than WA at the moment.

Come on WA Helper - even you must find that unacceptable.

We've provided plenty of information and even IP address routing information.

There must be SOMEONE who knows WTF is going on.

At what point do we get a refund ?
