I realise we have forum politics, and I love this forum but how come when speeds are crap we can have a million people post bad speed results and call wbs incompetent and i take crap if i defend em, then if things are good and i share my speed tests I get all this crap from people who dislike wbs?

are we only supposed to report bad experiences on this forum? if so then this is a good place to find the problems but a bad place to find the reality.

By the way if you never saw it i'm refering to the chilly reception i got when posting a speed result, to which I was told I was lying, then i post these

hilarious, and the funny thing is it was from non iBurst users, don't write iBurst off just yet :)
 
seems like my speeds are getting back to normal eventhough i have passed the "cap"
 
Looks like my speeds are returning as well - 29% through an 84.3MB download that has been stalling on me loads of times the last few days :).

ok its 7 am on 8 April 2005 in the morning. I don't know If its me but Im lossing my connection. Nearly got Disconnected, It's either that the base station im connected at is overloaded or to many ppl downloading or something. I've 5 lights on but im ping out and takes time to redial to the network.

Oh well. I'm not calling WBS, since its waist of money and TIME.

Well, my report was qualified. As a matter of interest, here is my trio this morning.

----195.92.95.5 PING Statistics----
66 packets transmitted, 66 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 360/449/720

----196.4.160.2 PING Statistics----
66 packets transmitted, 66 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 60/81/280

----196.30.31.120 PING Statistics----
66 packets transmitted, 66 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 50/90/330

The packet loss situation seems to have been corrected.

On a more general note, the mud slinging that has been going on on this forum recently really does not do much for its credibility to newcomers. I am glad to see that it is being wound down.
