So you have standard GPS navigation directional arrows superimposed on whatever your camera is viewing? Huh?!?

Yeah do a search on Augmented Reality. Basically the camera view replace the animated map you usually see. You get browsers too, it will show you info on buildings/prices on houses your viewing threw your phone's camera.

have you guys seen google sky on android.... same concept, flippen mind blowing. point your phone in the sky at night and as you pan across the heavens (lol) it shows you what stars and planets you are looking at. it uses a combination of, your current position, compass and the accelerometers.
