ok i have a simple avg8 question

Bandwidth is expensive right here in SA,i know cause i run 3g.
How do we save our avg8 update virus files.I mean i googled but never get the right answer.This is my story..............I want to uninstall my avg8 which is up to date and i want to keep my updates.I know that when i uninstall it i will have to download updates again and this can be like 60 to 100mb.
Which file or hidden files in the programs files/avg8 must i save in another place for safe storage,or is this registry matter.

PLease do tell the secret.

avg7 put the stuff somewhere under documents& settings\all users\application data\grisoft\ or somewhere there. Now idea about avg8...I have no intention of trying it.

thanks but this i know already,i dont want to download the files from the net,what i want to do is keep my updated avg files which i already have installed.
I was thinking of copying the programs folder avg but this does not always work
