Ok so how is it.

I logged on dont see any GFX improvements i think its just cause you got new card and screen that makes huge difrence by it self.
New login screen does look good i played a bit this weekend but still dont see anything that will pul me from War yet.

But i miss the latency bar cant see mylatency or FPS anymore.Any other way to check this maybe they moved it?

Nope the new card was sent back as it's not working.

They sharpened it a bit, and the animations are AWESOME ! Sould Drain and Life Drain looks so damn cool now :p

What card was it?
Upgraded my card too this weekend from 8600 GT to 8800GTS now the 8600 GT just gone eat dust.

AGP slot, of else I would have bought your 8600GT :p

it's a 6200
Think you may still get a 6600 or 6800gt will run ALOT better 6200 is not that great even for wow your fps will still drop hard in crowded areas.

The 8600GT is only 3 months old still got orginal boxing and everything didnt even had time to eat dust looks brand new if you get a new pc ill sell it for R400.

Dont know if they make 7000 series or 8000 series in AGP anymore should check this out Pitbull before you get a new card http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/chart...q3-2008/3DMark06-v1-1-0-3DMark-Score,794.html

I'll be building a new machine in the beginning of next year. I wasn't prepaired to spend R 1k + on a card for an old machine due to be replaced. The 6200 is a massive upgrade from my 64MB onboard I've been playing with ;)

Jeez dude 64 MB i cant believe wow was still playble on that but yeah thats a big upgrade on that card.
You probably avoided shat and ogrimar at all cost.

If you get new pc midrange dont need top of the range masjien to run wow with everything maxed youll probably get permanent 75 frames per second or better .

Gota give it to you for playing with that card in wow end game between lag and fps i would have pulled out all my hair :)

Makes me think of the old days when i played fallout 2 on my 486 pc it was so slow i shoot a npc then i hear the sound about 4 sec after he falls down.

But hey i was desprate to play the game if you dont know if better it doesnt bother you lol i almost finished the game like that.
Dont know of any of you know fallout world map gave you more encounters based on cpu speed i had 75 encounters just to get to first town.On todays pcs i get 0 encounters.

But theres a new patch out fixing this.

I raided with 5-8 FPS :D
Ouch thats double lag if you get connection lag.

Dude your pvp and pve will be ALOT better with new pc.You should get one for WOTLK.
Stay away from Warhammer with that pc.

You can still see FPS, and your ms etc. There is a little green computer vibe near your character/achievement buttons. Just run your mouse over it.

Yea noticed it on the weekend cos I saw the little computer screen going red from yellow and I thought "huh?" Hovered over it and saw it

:D
Downloaded the patches over the weekend so didnt have to wait to dl em yesterday.
Running on a WA unshaped 4mbit line, GFX Card is a Radeon HD3650 512MB dedicated -> 1024 MB Shared.
You have money to burnnnnnn :):D

Weeeeell... just an arb. update for lolz. This just in, still suck for pvp. T.Storm hits for a bit more now that I trained rank2, but still seems to bug out or get resisted a hell of a lot. As an 'oh crap' button, being resistable is pretty...sucky. DID manage to storm a pally off lumbermill, but he just bubbled, sigh. The knockback effect is really weak and uninspiring. Every time I pop it and compare it to my WAR char's knockback, it just sours me to the game further.
At least healing in Elemental seems to be slightly more viable. 3K LHW crits lol. Of course healing is pointless right now. All healers have vanished/respecced dps, finding a healer in a BG is a rare priviledge, just wish i could do more to keep him alive. They get instagibbed so fast now.
TL;DR , still having zero fun with this class. So far, unpleasant. Will probably let my sub expire 23 Oct, and wait for Wrath. Ah well. No big loss I guess, just one drop in an ocean. Enjoy your OPness pplz, I'll either be another one of the horde of deathknights come Nov 13, or fade from Azeroth, another forgotten peasant.

No you can't have my stuff.

Coming back to the "how is it" question...

Frankly I'm disappointed, the PvE content is so easy now the whole game feels like a bit of a noobfest.
I've been to Vashj and Kael'thas after the patch when some people realised that you can still get the Hand of A'dal title if you have the old quest in your quest log.

These bosses are now so easy that we dropped both in one night even though we had a terrible PUG group.

Do the math...
Blizzard almost doubled some classes' dps output
They reduced all instance mobs' HP by 30%

Encounters that used to take more than 10 minutes are now over before 3 minutes.

The top-end raiding guild on our server were working on M'uru before the patch.
They've been stuck there for months.
Two days after the patch they dropped both M'uru and KJ.

Even they said that although the nerf was necessary, it really shouldn't have been 30%.

Zul'aman can be 5-manned and I'm sure we'll see groups smaller than 5 clearing Attumen pretty soon.

So its all great, and we can all get drunk and spank bosses is if they're no more difficult than Hogger, but boredom sets in pretty quickly now that there are no challenges left.

I think Blizz is too scared about WAR, and they tried so hard to please the masses that they may just end up achieving the opposite.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing the next three weeks.
WoW in its current form is fun for a short time and then it just becomes boring.

Blizz already indicated that they want WotLK raids to be "easier" than TBC, lets just hope they don't mean this easy...!

My 2c

They are making the content easier so that a lot of subscribers can experience max end-game content and the best gear before the expansion hits.
Once the expansion is released along with its subsequent patches it will be a different ball game altogether.

Well people on end game pve WAR complain its way too hard YES war does have pve not the main focus.

Problem I see Nickd is those new masses who have rushed through to end game are going to scream blue murder if it gets tough, I think bad precedent has been made....

oh and attunmen can be 3 manned easy and I am sure soloed by the right class.

by the time the masses have leveled all the way to 80, hopefully they will have forgotten about the 3-4 weeks of easy raiding :D
