What do you guys do with your old issues of PC format / NAG??

Do you chuck them, keep them, donate them to the works toilet for reading material??

I am moving soon, and have about 6 years worth of old mags, so deciding what to do with them..

I've got about 5 years worth of Nag and PC Format magazines. They are stacked in different places in my room. In the drawer, under the bed, on my desk.

This weekend I got Splinter Cell Double Agent and I was trying to find a patch on the NaG DVDs which means having to whip out NaG magazines and going to each contents page to check what is on the issues DVD. Is there an easier way? Why can't they put the contents on the disk sleeve like PCF does? Still didn't find the patch.

I'm about to dump 4yrs worth of PCformat, unless somebody wants them. Still got all the disks too.

hey... its better than reading the financial times or looking at who scribbled what on the toilet door...

I am gonna dump them then, unless someone wants the mags.. gonna keep the cd/dvd's though incase i need patches etc

Contact the magazine people and ask them if they want an archive of there mags and sent it to them maybe they will give u something in return!

lol.. i doubt they would do that, but worth a try! ;-)

I'm having the same problem, mags all over the show. I think I'm going to round up the oldest ones of both NAG and PCF, and recycle them here at work. Keep the disks until I've copied everything I want.

It's sometimes fun to read through the old stuff and read reviews and so on, to see how Core 2 came out the blue to rule the world, and to see how wrong thr mags got some of the stuff.

It shows you how quick the technology changes, and gets outdated. And for the fact that the mags that cost R39-R42 are now worth nothing lol.

I see it in this way u get a DVD full of goodies worth 8gigs, R40 is well worth it since 1 gig on the net cost R80. Well not with all the mags only a few but still

There is a programme on one of the discs ('07 or this year) that has an index of everything on the discs ....... ;)

go the recycle route, do your bit for mother earth....

...if it wasn't for the games on the PCF disk i would not buy it, there is rarely new s/w. for new s/w i look at SACM (although its only 700mb)

errr ....... if it's the game demo's, why are you not rather buying NAG magazine

I also only buy NAG if i do buy a mag, cause it is just plain rad!

lol.. seriously, its demo's are way better than pcformat, and pcformat, i feel, has been in a steady decline for a few years now...

plus the demos on PCF have already been on the NAG cover dvd 2 months prior, lol :D
