Good one rpm.

Here's just an idea, and will take a lot of organizing.

Suggestion within the SA framwork is to organise a countrywide
strike on using Telkoms "services".

Two birds with one stone, hitting the stakeholders where it will hurt them the most, and getting worldwide attention to the dire straits our telecomunication situation is in this country. CNN comes to mind on this matter. I would think this to be a totally embaressing event for
Telkom "The Network that Networks use".

thats quite a bold and daring endeavour.
r u proposing that residential ppl strike telkom or that the actual companies do it?
im all for it but i cant imagine any company saying that it will not use telkom for as long as the strike is ongoing.

New service by Telkom broadband speeds up to 5kbps for only R1k a month. heheh

I might remind readers that Nigeria succesfully did this same action against their cell phone companies sometime this year, achieving a drop in rates instantly.

All we would need to do is set a date and spread the word. This would just be a one day action. So I would see a drop in Telkom's rates at least be viewed favourably by companies here.
