Great but mini gets stolen a lot, and the new mini is crap unless youre a mechanic. To fix anything you need to pretty much disassemble half the engine to get to it. Fun for mechanics, bad for everyone else. And since BMW has pretty much the most expensive mechanics although not all good, yip its not great.

They are fun though. Known for some issues like steering wheels falling off, breaks failing a lot and so on.
 
Honestly I think the only real car that keeps and gains value is really a Honda Jazz, Brio or Civic. If its well maintained.

Toyota too, but since 7 of the top 10 stolen cars are Toyota, the tracker will cost you extra.
 
Will be selling one of our cars soon. 11 years old , less than 100K on the clock and it still looks like new. And loaded with Sunroof, etc,

Paid 186K (when it should have been around 230K at time) but I guess I lucked out. Checked WeBuyCars , firstly impossible to find the same model car with less than 100K for the age, but they selling the same model cars and some look in worse condition starting at R150K and even saw one for 176K (new model but more mileage and no sunroof, etc).

This car has served us well indeed!!
