Spoke to a friend of mine who works at VWSA, he reckons the SA used car market is 38% up on pre-COVID shenanigans pricing, which I can believe since I could potentially sell my Touareg for what I paid for it in 2019  As for classics and collectibles, SA went completely mad a few years ago after watching too many Discovery classic car shows.

What the fûćk? You can have this 8 pipe wonder for 90K.

I have also been looking in the last few weeks and the prices are ridiculous for 2nd hand vehicles. Absolutely crazy.
Property as well, I just saw a flat in my complex going for over a million bux. I laughed when I saw that as I only paid R575k 11yrs ago and then spent the following 2hrs looking at prices in the towns in my area and came to the conclusion the pricing is right

Everything is ****ing expensive
Thats hardly an increase. Paid 600k for a house 9 years ago. Current value 2.6 million

For car ill-informed persons such as myself, how much is that car actually worth then?
