I found one of my late father's VHS video tapes.
It is a video taken in a local mining bar at an old timer's farewell party.
Somebody placed a Video Camera on the bar counter and it recorded.
The video was taken about Twenty Five years ago and most of the people in it have passed on.
The video is currently on a DVD and takes up 3.57 GB.
As indicated above, the quality of the video is not that good and the sound the same...
This was the norm for good video back then....
Due to it's historical importance to a number of folk around the world, I want to rip the video to a smaller size, a much smaller size, around 700mb and then break that clip up into 50meg parts to upload to my website.
I have tried DVD shrink and MKV Shrink, but still land up with massive files.
Can somebody send me a good link or suggest how an amateur like me would go about this....
ps..... for what it's worth the guy in the above still was murdered in the Cape back in the day whilst he made wooden toys for needy kids, he never wanted to move to the Cape in the first place and was forced by the mine to leave our town.
