Coconut oil
I know morgenster. Havent spotted the others but will keep a lookout.Tokara, Foxenburg, Morgenster - all really nice local oils.
A lot of the imported oils are mixed with other oils. Interesting book: https://www.amazon.com/Extra-Virginity-Sublime-Scandalous-World/dp/0393343618/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1469906038&sr=8-2&keywords=extra+virgin+book
This right here.
Not worried about cheapest as I am concerned about fact that many olive oils are actually mixed crap.not sure whats the best but the cheapest in my area is at fruit and veg, I paid R100 for 750ml yesterday (it used to be R50)

So looking for places or brands that are genuine.
Pure cold pressed is apparently a gimmick due to modern processes but extra virgin is normally a good indicator its a decent oil.for what its worth, the bottle says "extra virgin olive oil" with "100% pure cold extracted" directly below that
the ingredients label also states "extra virgin olive oil (100%)"
so if you can prove there are other oils in that bottle you may have some sort of case against fruit and veg
I've bought Willow Creek and Green Leaf a number of times.

Agreedif you are looking for a cooking oil then either coconut or avo oil.
olive oil is best not heated. then you might as well use sunflower oil.
