Hi guys. I got two top up contracts with MTN and has come to an end... Thinking of moving to cell c because of pricing. Call per second rates are super high on MTN at 2.30 per minute where as Cell C is at 99cents per minute.. Any suggestions? I'm on a top up 200 package and the wife on a top up 100...???

Buy a prepaid Cell C sim and test it out for a month to see if it suits your needs.

Yes, MTN pricing is ridiculous.

That Telkom Mobile pricing given is prepaid only and only where there is Telkom Mobile coverage, so look at all aspects before going with that.

Another option is if you don't need/want a new handset you can stay with MTN and get the sim only deals. There's a large discount on the monthly subscription then which brings your effective call rate more or less in line with that of Cell C's.

Need a new handset as my blackberry is troubling tooo much...

Looking at iPhone 4 S or galaxy S3 mini

So looking for a contract with good per second rates and a good deal with the handset...

Only good if using only your inclusive airtime and nothing more.
BTW, Can these contracts users switch to a new R1.20p/m tarrif?
