On Self Defence.

No I think the Big guy in the story i told you would have finished the three of them , I've seen people put down multiple opponents.
Off to youtube fight vids,

I do MMA and agree with most of these people no matter what 3 on 1 is normaly a loss no matter what you have studied so running is the best option but if you do get caught in that situation your best hope is to seperate them leg kicks work brilliantly as some one said a kick to the thigh can make a guy limp with one shot trust me i know also straight push kicks just to get distance are beautiful, high kicks are way to risky in those scenarios also a big plus in a game like this is knowing pressure points remember its a street fight i wont even hesitate to eye guage a guys eyes or kick him right in the nuts nor would i be afraid to pick up a weapon(glass, chair, bottle etc) i do MMA as a controlled form of fighting i love it as a sport but in general i hate fighting ill normaly walk away unless you do something really wrong but even i must admit 3 - 1 i would run first

Whilst I agree that avoiding fights is the best move I reckon a good MMA fighter will be able to destroy 3 inexperienced fighters. A good teepee to one, knock the other 2 out and watch the one you teepeed run off in the distance.

I always ask myself: "What would Chuck Norris do?" :)

more because the 3 inexperienced guys are afraid to get hit than anything else...
It would prob be a decent strike on one of em, the other two would throw their hands up and try talk it out...

Like this vid i seen ,. my friends works at the saps had it on his phone , these 3 guys tried robbing this one short bald dude , anyway he hit the one guy out with a single punch god that was a punch :O and started back pedeling and jabing the other 2 senseless they gave up the fight and the shorty walked away quietly. was epic gona put it on youtube , you okes must check it out.

Someone who is actively practising whatever martial art form he chooses will always have an advantage, but he will also think twice about engaging an opponent with support (and unknown variables - guns, knivies, mace, etc.).

Running is not a cowards option, it's the sensible option (when out-numbered), if only to run far enough away to call in reinforcements and mete out some justice.

If you are forced into a confrontation, with no hope of escape, use brutal force to incapacitate the dominant opponent ( as mentioned earlier, eye-gouging, etc.) and hopefully his allies will be demoralized. Demoralization may cause them to retract, otherwise you have a fight on your hands.

The ambushee/s always has/have the upper hand - retreat enables you time to think.

If you don't actively practise the art of fighting, especially against multiple opponents, run like hell and live to fight another day.
