Instead of going to a retail store to purchase the latest Madonna CD, imagine simply clicking a few buttons on your 3G cellphone and downloading it over the air
Let's see - download a few hundred megabytes of DRM-infested data or buy an actual CD?

I'm still amazed people pay for ringtones. There sure are a lot of suckers out there.
with 4GB of storage capacity. That’s enough to store about 1000 songs
Not at good quality low. Anything with such a low data rate should be free. If I'm paying I want pristine quality. I don't pay for MP3, AAC etc. And I certainly won't pay for anything I can't transfer to and from my portable devices myself.
Only suckers pay for music that gets downloaded directly to a cellphone. Once on the phone your purchase is locked away so you can't use it anywhere except on the phone. Just say no.
