Hi

I have an older MSI-7528 Ver 1.1 motherboard, which was working fine with a display card.
when I removed the display card, it does not default back to the onboard VGA as primary display. I have subsequently sold the display card and cacannot get into the BIOS to set the onboard to primary. The machine powers on and everything, but the BIOS screen ldoes not come on and the onboard VGA has always worked previously.

I have tried to resetting the CMOS, but no lauck, any suggestions?

Thanks

Interesting. Sorry I can't be of much help. If you can't get into BIOS, and have already reset CMOS, then I'm stumped.

Edit: Sounds like the onboard display card is stuffed. Can't think of any other reason why you can't see a picture. Are you sure your monitor is working fine? Perhaps try a different one?

Do the following. Take out the Cmos battery and with the ac power unplugged press the power button and then put the battery back and connect the ac and power on. Your bios should be on defaults and your onboard should be primary.

Some motherboards have weird ways to access the Bios on startup.
Search the manual it might help.

Some branded desktop pc's for example also have different ways to access the Bios.
You probably did this but check out the Bios load screen. Normally there a msg that list the method of initiating Bios.
