Once off data bundle on contract

I'm on a cell c straight up contract and I've run out of data, so I can buy more data via *147# but it keeps asking if I want to activate a recurring bundle.

Is it not possible to buy a once off data bundle when you're on contract? I bought 500mb but I also see nowhere to cancel this apparent recurring data bundle that I've now activated.

You can only buy recurring data bundles when your are on contract. Please PM me your number and i will cancel it.
